Looking down Easdedale from the path that runs by Sourmilk Gill.

I always stop and look back when I'm out rambling, I don't want to miss a thing. Church Stretton in the distance❤

This was actually a very steep slope but I found it difficult to position the camera in order to convey this!

Looking back towards the Pictured Rocks cliffs while paddling back to Miner's Beach. If my family wasn't waiting back at the beach, I could have easily spent all day out here.

These Robins were finding many juicy worms in our yard this morning. Looks like this little guy has already had his breakfast! Love to see the Robins - Spring can't be far now!

"Did I say you could take my picture?"

I spent the other night looking at the stars. Whether it is the Hubble, Webb, or my own scope the feeling of uplift and inspiration I get is the same. I love this verse in the Book of Moses which expresses at least part of what I feel;

“And behold, all things have their likeness, and all things are created and made to bear record of me, both things which are temporal, and things which are spiritual; things which are in the heavens above, and things which are on the earth, and things which are in the earth, and things which are under the earth, both above and beneath: all things bear record of me.” Moses 6:63

It felt almost criminal to disrupt the pattern the wind left in the sand. Thought I'd capture my mini-Shiva moment.

Even if reluctantly, we still must anticipate the coming of Autumn and the reality that Winter is just around the corner.

I know that I've lamented the cold and short duration of this last Summer, so I won't beat that point into the ground and will instead anticipate the golds and red's of Autumn and will hope that this year's leaves will be brilliant.

I just read an article this morning about the ten best places for Fall Color's and the Columbia River Gorge, rightfully so, was included in the list. The link can be found HERE. The article also features a great photo by my awesome Flickr friend Sarah. : )

And so in that spirit, I post a shot from last Autumn taken along Still Creek near my home here near Mount Hood.

Enjoy your Sunday my friends. : )

I have learned over the years that if you don't look up occasionally you'll miss some spectacular views. Tis shot was taken on a side street in Albuquerque 's Old Town.

On the 12th October 2021 the 'Queen Mary 2' (2003) departs Southampton for Weymouth.

Well, I started my walk way back there and I'm just taking a moment to look back ~ pretty much quite back there but could have something to do with the rain that fell earlier in the day!!

The aurora had a lot of pinks and reds in it. Caused by the solar particles exciting the oxygen molecules in our atmosphere.
