Long exposure picture taken during a long shutter workshop I gave last week. Take advantage of the situation you create a ghost selfie :-)

Pastel colours of sunset catched in long exposure shot. The rock formation lapped by the waves in Dwejra Bay in Malta.
This is my first try using the Slow Shutter Cam app to do a long exposure shot on my iPhone. I can see it has a lot of potential!
And who says you shouldn't put the horizon in the middle of your shot?
Clevedon Pier is a seaside pier in the town of Clevedon, Somerset, England on the east shore of the Severn Estuary. And was designated a Grade I listed building in 2001.
The pier was built during the 1860s to attract tourists and provide a ferry port for rail passengers to South Wales.
The pier opened in 1869 and served as an embarkation point for paddle steamer excursions for almost 100 years. Two of the spans collapsed during stress testing in 1970 and demolition was proposed, but local fund raising and heritage grants allowed the pier to be dismantled for restoration and reassembled. It reopened in 1989, and ten years later was awarded the Pier of the Year from the National Piers Society, and a Civic Trust Award. The pier now offers a landing stage for steamers and is a popular attraction for tourists and anglers.
Erosion has exposed this tree's roots, but quite a while ago and it doesn't seem bothered! This always looked quite interesting but it isn't easy to get into a Milky Way shot! 5 shot vertical pano with extra lighting from 2 flashes and the moon. Near the Cazneaux Tree, near Wilpena Pound.

Spent a great day in the Lakes yesterday with Terry.
On a predominately overcast day we decided to set of at silly o clock, as the weather forecast was for sun in the morning and to cloud over in the afternoon....guess what they got it wrong, now there's a surprise ;-)
We were just about to set off home when the cloud broke late on, we then had a good few hours of good late light, this was the start of that period.

No matter how many times I visits the Tetons I always spend at least 1 morning trying to shoot Oxbow Bend. There was slight breeze messing with the mountain’s reflection so I put on a filter and went for a little longer exposure just to smooth out the water.
