Tiempo de quedarse en casa, de leer esas novelas que tenemos pendientes, de ordenar papeles, de editar aquella sesión fotográfica que en su día guardamos en el disco duro y olvidamos, de hacer el curso on line para el que nunca tuvimos tiempo y sobre todo, de reordenarnos por dentro, de soltar el acelerador y aprovechar la oportunidad de reflexión que nos da el dichoso coronavirus. Por una vez el mundo se ha parado y nos podemos bajar.
A todos los que estáis enfermos ahora o vais a enfermar en breve, os deseo una rápida recuperación.

Barcience fue una zona fortificada desde los siglos XI y XII. En el siglo XIII pasó a manos de la Orden de Santiago y fue cedido por su Gran Maestre, don Enrique IV de Castilla, al adelantado don Alfonso Tenorio, cabeza de la familia de los Silva, condes de Cifuentes desde 1454. Estos construyeron el castillo en el siglo XV. La construcción del castillo la comenzó Juan de Silva y su nieto fue quien la concluyó. En el siglo XVI fue provisto de artillería y guarnición.
De los Silva paso a las casas ducales del Infantado, de Osuna y de Pastrana. Los duques de Pastrana donaron el castillo de Barcience al papa León XIII, quien lo vendió posteriormente a un particular, junto con el término y el pueblo. El particular en cuestión se trata de la familia Calderon, concretamente en la figura de don Cirilo Calderon, hombre de negocios que junto con la enorme finca de Barcience en la que se incluia el Castillo de Barcience adquirió el Palacio de Barcience a la familia vizcaina de los Taramona y consiguió con su elocuencia y buena vision para los negocios hacer de Barcience y concretamente de sus fincas un auténtico emporio en lo que a explotación agropecuaria se refiere.En la actualidad toda la grandeza de aquella explotación agropecuaria esta en manos de don Luis Calderon, heredero de don Cirilo Calderon.

I saw this small waterfall in the JC Raulston Arboretum and thought it would be best to try for the first time, long exposure. I took this for 25 seconds.

Sunlight changed into darkness was so fast, but I hadn’t finished my homework today yet. It was a tough route to went to this photo spot by the ocean, I must climbed some huge concrete breakwaters, up and down...down and up, seems like a naughty dog, in fact, no fun at all.

天色變暗是如此的快速，不過我還沒有完成今天的功課。到這處海邊的拍攝點是一條艱困的路線，必須爬上一些巨大的混凝土防波塊，上上下下，看起來活像是一隻好動頑皮的落水狗，說真的，一點都不好玩。
I made my way to this pond about 45 minutes before sunrise. I haven’t used my tripod in a while and because the sky was cloudless, I aimed my camera low to the ground to capture the purple sky reflection in the water with all of the autumn color of the trees. The long exposure time of 4 seconds picked up so much lovely light here. I took the same picture at sunrise and it did not come out as well. Hope everyone has a great week!
I used guess work for the settings and added a little hint of pink in lightroom....any hints / tips / advice for my next outing will be gratefully recieved :))

Roadworks at Westminster caused issues for traffic. Long exposures were difficult, but i think the end result here is reasonably pleasing.
