Concrete barges, River Thames, Rainham Marshes. Constructed during World War 2, and then moved here as flood defences.
Not on the LOOP as, not for the first time on the day, I'd got lost.

An old farm where an attempt to build houses was defeated. And boy could there have been a LOT of houses on this land.
This curved arch depicts that there's been a settlement in Purfleet for some time - the inside of the arch also has inscriptions too.
