The place was full of people enjoying the lavender - there were several coaches parked up and a huge number of Japanese tourists.
This launch pier is all abandoned and disused, and somehow looks more beautiful on the Thames for it.
Here in Ewell the Hogsmill is born and the LOOP follows the river as close as it can as it heads on its six mile journey to the Thames.
Views like this always remind of sci-fi films, with the protagonists looking across the wilderness towards some distant futuristic city.
