Demountable Rack Offload and Pickup System (DROPS) vehicles form the logistic backbone of the British Army. DROPS has the ability to tow a long-wheelbase trailer which allows it to carry two loads using one driver.

DROPS are 8 x 6 load carriers with a 15-tonne flatrack payload, allowing the rapid loading and unloading of flatracks or containers.

Logistical Support Unit.

I would like to thank the firefighters of Red Watch for allowing me to take these photos.

U.S. Army Garrison provided logistical support to hundreds of paratroopers from “First Rock,” 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, in a rapid deployment exercise Nov. 13 and 14.

Garrison and tenant commands rapidly prepared the Sky Soldiers to move to Aviano Air Base for exercises in southern France.

The exercise named Falcon Amarante is one in a planned series of training events to rapidly deploy the brigade from Italy to anywhere in Europe and Africa Central Command regions. The entire garrison from Soldiers to Italian workforce supported capabilities to help the brigade focus on the actual mission.

The men and women of Logistics Task Force—4 at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan work hard seven days a week supporting the Soldiers and Marines operating in the southern part of Afghanistan. They are responsible for several programs including installing armor upgrades on Army and Marine vehicles, maintenance and sustainment operations, and retrograde operations.

About the 401st:

The 401st Army field Support Brigade provides Soldiers, Sailors, Airman, and Marines, the tools and resources necessary to complete the mission. If they shoot, drive it, fly it, wear it, eat it or communicate with it, the 401st helps provide it. The brigade assists coalition partners with many of their logistical and sustainment needs. The brigade also handles the responsible disposition of equipment in Afghanistan to support evolving missions. We are the single link between Warfighters in the field, and working through Army Sustainment Command, we leverage Army Materiel Command’s worldwide Materiel Enterprise to develop, deliver, and sustain materiel to ensure a dominant joint force for the U.S. and our Allies.

Changing of the Guard at Windsor Castle on 18 May 2019.

The New Guard was provided by F Company of the Scots Guards. The Old Guard was provided by 10 Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment. The band was from the Coldstream Guards.

The New Guard marched along the High Street at 10.35 am much earlier than the normal time of 10.55 am. The Changing of the Guard ceremony took place even though Windsor Castle was closed to the public because of the wedding of Lady Gabriella Windsor, daughter of Prince Michael of Kent, in St George’s Chapel inside the castle which was attended by many members of the Royal Family including the Queen.

Missions are in full swing for the North Carolina National Guard’s 113th Sustainment Brigade at their Annual Training deployment to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, June 17, 2017. The sounds of rifle and machinegun fill the air at several of Bragg’s ranges as Soldiers improved their marksmanship skills. Soldiers led student convoys or other driver training along many of the fort’s dusty roads and trails. Brigade leaders carefully rehearsed the huge logistical task of returning hundreds of Soldiers, tons of equipment and more than a hundred vehicles to their home armories across the state after the deployment is complete next week.
