To which most of us had contributed a block. So much fun! Sorry we forgot to do this before you'd gone, Jackie!
Quilt-a-long for Margaret's Hope Chest...made from scraps from a quilt I had previously made for my son.
What started out as just playing around with scraps of fabric became a pillow-size log cabin (mostly) square. I'll probably back it with the outmost fabric and it will be perfect on the couch.
I just can't decide if I should quilt it or not.
Two lads proud of their accomplishments.
Unknown locale but looking at the pines, it is somewhere in a northern area; possibly Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Minnesota, Wisconsin, or maybe even the District of Assiniboia.

57 x 72.5 - Odd size fabric pieces make up this quarter square log cabin block. The quilt will be donated to Hopes & Dreams Quilt Challenge for ALS.
Timmy conked out sideways in his log cabin in the sun this morning. He'd already flopped out in the sun but it was obviously too warm on his black bits and this way he got to lie in the sun without getting too hot. Too cute!
Quilt made for the June 6-12" Mini Quilt Swap. This one is for Solidia. It's about 8x8". (Forgot to measure it before it left!)

I've been working with beautiful but fairly muted colors for the last few months. It was time for some COLOR! Plus I wanted to try something using batiks *and* prints. There is one of each in each block. These are simplified mini quartered log cabins that will eventually be an art quilt. The whole thing will be about 10x30-ish.
