Port Logan, formerly Port Nessock, is a small village in the parish of Kirkmaiden in the Rhins of Galloway in Wigtownshire. The Gaelic name is Port Neasaig.

Port Nessock Bay is now all that remains of the western end of a strait that in post-glacial times separated the main part of what is now the Rinns of Galloway from three smaller islands to its south. There was a ruined pier in the bay in 1790, at which time kelp and samphire were gathered on the coast to the south.

The village was planned; it was created by Colonel Andrew MacDowall (Douall), the laird of Logan, in 1818. MacDowall erected a quay and bell tower designed by Thomas Telford, and a causewayed road leading to them. This causeway blocked the view to seaward of the existing houses on the Lower Road (Laigh Row), whose inhabitants MacDowall expected to move to a new Upper Road; in the event, they welcomed the shelter it provided from the brisk onshore winds, and preferred to stay put, though subsequently most of them added a second storey so recovering some of the sea view.

Story about my adopted dog Logan. His original name was Cain but we renamed him. He did end up being deaf due to his many injuries.

This is not me in the video. I fostered for this organization and adopted Logan once he was well.

This Logan's Roadhouse was previously a Montana's Cookhouse (aroundguides.com/26634104/Photos/15543844). Montana's Cookhouse is a Canadian steakhouse chain that once had some locations in the US as well. This building still looks similar to how it did as Montana's; Logan's did change the top of the building and repainted the wood facade though.

Alright guys, it’s here. Hugh Jackman last ‘bout as Wolverine. I can’t believe that he’s been playing since 2000, that’s almost as long as I’ve been alive. Now I’ve never been a huge fan of the X-Men films, Deadpool and Days of Future Past are the only two that stand out in the bunch for me, but I was still pretty Excited to see Logan. The trailers were amazing, and this movie is sort of an event film, seeing this iconic character on screen for the last time is pretty special, no matter how much you liked or disliked his previous movies. Anyways, I saw this movie yesterday, but I’m just writing this review now because I’m been sucked into Breath of the Wild. So, is Logan the proper send off for Hugh Jackman, or was it a dud? Let’s check it out!

Good: This film was stunning. It was emotional, and it was beautiful. People aren’t underaggagerating when they compare this movie to the Dark Knight, it’s very similar in both tone and quality. This film is so unique from the rest of the superhero films. It’s a sci-fi western and the overall story is very small scale, but that why it works because it sacrifices giant end-of-the world situations for serious character development and incredible writing. When I saw Wolverine in this movie, I had the same reaction to him when I saw Ben Affleck as Batman, this portrayal as Wolverine IS the Wolverine we all know from the comics. And since this movie was rated R, we got the see the Wolverine action we all wanted since the first X-Men movie! There are some action scenes that will be compared to the Civil War airport fight, the Batman warehouse scene in BvS. Now obviously Hugh Jackman as Wolverine was my favorite part of this movie, but Patrick Stewart’s Professor X was also incredible. Professor X in this movie was tragic, and it was so sad to see him as he is in this movie. I’m not going to spoil anything, but there are some things that have happened before this movie that just makes you feel so bad for him. But he’s also very funny in this movie too. I talked with my friends after the movie and they said that his humor was very unneeded, but I completely disagree. In a movie that was as dark as this, the sentimental humor really worked. Ok now I gotta talk about X-23. Laura Kinney was amazing in this film, she was so badass and I loved seeing her kick total ass and kill some fools! Now I’m not going to go into the story because I really want you guys to go into this movie as blind as possible, so all I’m going to say is the story was great with some incredible twists and turns!

Bad: There’s not much to complain about in this movie. I’d say this movie felt really long, but it made it feel more of a journey and I want to spend as much time as I can with these characters before they go. I’d say my only complaint with this movie is the villain or villains. The villains weren’t all that memorable and I think if they went with some X-Men villains that were more iconic, they’d be better. Like there was no reason that the villains weren’t some iconic characters, like the villains were just scientists and soldiers which could’ve been replaced with characters that we’ve been waiting to see on the big screen.

Overall, tears were shed once the credits rolled. This movie is definitely going to be in the top five greatest comicbook movies of all time, but I don’t think it’s even in my top ten favorite. Like, I know this movie is incredible and near perfect, but there are some films that I just prefer more and that speak to me more. But I can’t deny that Logan will be in most people’s top list, which is completely fine with me. So for these reasons, I’m going to give Logan a 9.5/10. Go see this film as soon as you can. X-Men fan or not, you’ll like it. This is one of the few comicbook films that transcend it’s own genre and I believe will be known as just a good film.

A Dacia Logan with German plates is quite rare as the saloon version is not sold over there. Like in the Netherlands only the MCV wagon version is available in Germany.
