on the walk back from the ART COLOGNE TRADEFAIR we went by the Hohenzollern Bridge with all of his "love locks", here are some impressions of the most rusty ones ;)
Early morning reflection at what was 'The Three Locks' near Leighton Buzzard. This is now 'The Grand Union' AT the three locks'. It is not a white building anymore either - sort of sandy brown.. (paint job?)
Dani has been growing her hair out for quite some time. She recently donated about 10 inches to Locks of Love, an organization that makes wigs for children with cancer.
Door locks have become integral to our lives. These things are designed to protect us and keep us protected from potential dangers such as thieves and intruders. They enable us to live peacefully since locks are specifically made to give us security, but also protection. By using door locks, we do not need to be concerned about thieves breaking into our house or office at a naughty moment. Because most door locks are very durable and can withstand medium to severe impact, they allow us to prevent bad guys from breaking into our house. Some locks have modern technology that makes it more difficult for burglars to gain access to our homes. If you are unsure about your home or business security it is best to put in top-quality locks as quickly as is possible. doorlockfinder.com

I am trying to produce at least one photo essay each month for the next year. This is the first of twelve. This concept came to me as I was out doing street photography and was trying to think of an area of Seattle I had not been to for a while. The Ballard Locks came to mind as it has people, scenics and machinery. After the first 50 images I thought I should do an essay on the Locks and one thought lead to another, so here we go. These shots had a two hour limit for shooting since that is when the meter ran out. It's a really interesting place that I probably didn't do justice to.
