The large lock reopened for service Oct,.14 after a lightning strike cut power at the Chittenden Locks in Ballard Oct. 10.

An Italian movie was made a few years back about a couple who was in love. In the movie they put a lock on a bridge over the Tiber river and threw the key away. Now young kids in Italy mimick this movie showing their love for each other. Cute, ehh? Ugh, I want to throw up.
