The Three Locks, Leighton Buzzard

I try to shoot these locks every time I get to Ottawa, but I don't seem to really get what I want. Here are the 2011 versions - kind of blah, but someday I'll get the effect I'm looking for. :-)

Part 1: The Windsor Locks Canal Trail (found between Rt. 190 on the north, and Rt. 140 on the south) is a paved pedestrian and bike trail running the west side of the river between Suffield and Windsor Locks. The old tow path along the Windsor Locks Canal is a straight 4.5-mile stretch with the Connecticut on one side; the canal channel on the other. This was first a riverboat canal, later converted to a hydro power source for industry. There are pavement imperfections if you’re a cyclist, or using a wheelchair or roller blades. Public parking is at either end of the Windsor Locks Canal near the Rt. 190 and Rt. 140 crossings.

There is a bridge in Paris where lovers put their locks of love and then toss the key in the Seine!
