An antique lock I acquired somewhere down the line.

Banbury Lock. Before the shopping centre was built this was the site of the bus station. I'm not sure of the exact date this was taken.

Something happened to my laptop lock and the combination I set stopped working. This happened while the laptop was locked to a desk. My red handled lock pick did a good job of unlocking my laptop.

This is a winter shot of Lock 68 of the Chenango Canal. It was on the north side of Valley Road not too far outside of the village of Oriskany Falls, heading toward Solsville. (I believe there were more locks along this route but unfortunately the weather started to get really bad the day I was up there so I had to cut it short and turn around -- I'll have to return again in early spring). The Chenango Canal opened in 1837, flourished briefly, and closed in 1878. It was 97 miles long and had 116 lift locks. It extended south from the Erie Canal at Utica and went to the Susquehanna River at Binghamton. It was roughly where Routes 12 and 12 B run today.

Here is my second shot...This too taken at Jaipur city palace..In fact what better place to click locked doors than in an old fort... The designs on this one looked great when the entire frame was captured..or should i have cropped it?? I added noise to give an oldish effect..

Bank of America is a client of the foodservice company, Compass Group, who has taken back its promise to end extreme abuse toward mother pigs in its supply chain. Ten years ago, Compass Group committed to phasing out the use of cruel gestation crates, but about 90% of the pigs it sources and sells still come from mothers who spend months on end locked up in a cage. This is physically and psychologically devastating for mother pigs. Bank of America must break ties with cruelty and end its relationship with Compass Group! animalequality.org/action/bank-of-america

My super stopped me today to tell me that he had left his keys in a door, gone inside and come out to find them gone. I'm glad he didn't have my apartment key. Still, I'm going to get the first door lock replaced. It basically opens with a screwdriver anyhow and needs to be replaced!
