A few mor pics from this week's rideout to Pleasley, Nottinghamshire. The Old Corn Mill Weir is on the edge of Meden Square, in the heart of the old village. If you didn't know it was there, you wouldn't know it was there( if you get ma drift?!?)
We had a run over to our friends' farm, today, for a (socially distanced) look at some of the new arrivals in the cowsheds.
Like almost everywhere else in the world, Melbourne was a desolate and quiet place in the pandemic days.

Taking off from Dublin, probably en-route to Toronto, 04th August 2019.
Really looking forward to getting back on a plane as soon as this pandemic allows.
Found, edited and uploaded as part of my #lockdown2021 set.
We're still legally obliged to wear masks indoors.

From Friday's rideout, a few pics of Hermitage Mill Weir, on the River Maun in Mansfield. A couple of these ar a bit blurred as they were taken one-handed, whilst trying to keep my balance on a very muddy riverbank!
On th Papplewick Trail, where the River Leen finally leaves Newstead Abbey Park and heads towards the site of the old Mill Pond (no longer there) at Linby.
First pics from yesterday's rideout through Pleasley. This is the Old Corn Mill Weir, on the River Meden, in the centre of old Pleasley Village, Nottinghamshire. I've been passing this spot for in excess of 60 years (ouch!) and I have never seen the water level as high as this. Taken with the Gopro Hero 8 Black, mounted on a really cool photo-pole (Wilko's extending window cleaning pole!)
Testing the Minola 50mm on the S5. Seem acceptably sharp at f1.4, and the bokeh is quite pleasant. This images was taken during a pandemic photowalk. At the time, we were not permitted to travel more than 5km away from home, so exercise was basically a walk around several blocks.

A couple of phone pics from my rideout on Sunday morning. Boundary Wood incorporates what used to the the old pit tip at Blidworth, Nottinghamshire. Some excellent walking and cycling to be had, there.
We went for a walk along the Trent, yesterday, and finished up buying a couple of "bargains" at the garden centre. These take the in-house orchid count to 63!
Life in a Pandemic 52 Weeks of 2021 Week #3 Lockdown 2021
We had our 1st Covid injection this week (Thursday)
This is the scene inside the local Parish Hall where we had the injection done, and a selection of our homemade masks!
This was all very well organised not too many people at a time, plenty of room and the room to sit down afterwards was nearly empty! and there were people cleaning down after everybody left a chair! 👍
This was a photo I took with my phone, I printed it A3 and laid it on a light pad and re-photographed it with my camera with the masks on the top of the print!
