Moving the abnormal load. Norwich rd Ipswich suffok (UK). The load is a 330 ton turbine bound for a power station project at Eye airfield industrial estate. 29 October 2023.
Part of the force’s role is to escort abnormal loads across the road and motorway networks.
Earlier this month we assisted with the movement of a bridge section.
GMP officer took over from our Cheshire colleagues and escorted the load to the Yorkshire border.

Front-end loaders from Snider Dock Services Ltd., in Port Colborne, dump metallurgical coke into a hopper with a conveyor belt. The coke was then transferred onboard the Canadian Progress, an Upper Lakes Shipping vessel. The ship was docked along the west wall of the Welland Canal in Port Colborne.
Thought I would use my scrapbooking room as an example of my never having enough when it comes to scrapbooking. First I wanted the room, then the organization, then some more organization. purging some stuff when load is over....
