Tanker British Mallard loading crude at the BP terminal late at night.
A lot of light can be hard to work in - theres so much light on this tanker that its hard to capture her without washing out the superstructure - I did manage some great shots i need to work on - water at night can work very well.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Comments - all welcome and wanted

Used Maya Mist on the brown polka dot paper & journaling strips for a NSD challenge at Studio Calico. Journaling: If I don't look at the clock I can easily forget it's bedtime. You never really are ready to wind down. When it is time you arm yourself with at least three books for Mommy to read. Most nights I fall asleep before You!

This is one of the few times that I've seen an F40PH turned non-powered cab unit used for one of its intended purposes. The Amtrak station agent loads baggage into the cargo hold of NPCU No. 90215 as the westbound Wolverine works at the station in Kalamzoo, Mich. The NPCU is stopped over North Rose Street. Glad this load of building blocks didn't fall from the truck (as it went round the roundabout) when I was there!
Oddly the blocks were gone when I returned from work some 8 hours later.
A bunch of local log truckers got together to do a charity run for a dying friend. The best part was that Toad got to drive his truck in to town-at the head of the 28 truck convoy!
I'm proud to say that I was a part of it. With the donations from the loads, a free will offering afterwards and a charity auction we raised $28 000 for his family!

The painting in the background I did several years ago; it was fun. I think I'll resurrect that activity and add it to my "creativity" list...just as soon as LOAD mini is over.
