The first train to load at Lynch 3 in several years is easing beneath the loader with a set of export empties for Newport News. Shortly afterwards, the loadout would break down, leaving the train at a standstill until late that night.

This is the loading screen. The app only takes a couple seconds to load, but I think some sort of visual treat is nicer than just seeing a screenshot of the app while it loads. We made sure not to use it for any sort of self promotion.
These are Walthers HO scale Loading Platform kits that I modified, detailed and weathered. Not the easiest or very fun kits to build but they turned out OK.

I served 2 types of pastas... one was my classic Tripple Meat sauce pasta... thats Canadian Bacon, Frankfurters and ground beef... and Pasta La Fortezza... a concoction of olives, capers, ripe tomatoes and tonnes of Tinapa, a local smoked fish...

rather than do an actual self portrait today, I took an idea from Brenda Arnall's blog brendaarnall.typepad.com/its_a_new_day/. I even shamelessly scraplifted her layout. I like this idea so well that I may do it every month or so.
MY FAVE SPOT...I love my backyard in the summer time it is my escape and my oasis and I love watching my puppy play and chase things in the back yard!!
Smoke is our resident neighborhood - I believe feral - cat; s/he's been around easily since Fall, 2009. We're convinced that s/he has many eating places but definitely knows there's a good meal to be had here. S/he's been fixed - a neighbor had that done. We hadn't seen her since the PV - Polar Vortex - but today, s/he showed up....temps: low 50s...and a meal was to be had!

here we are at the Cancun airport! It was a very busy place! I remember feeling confused and overwhelmed by different people calling out resort name. I remember Evan being annoyed someone wanted to carry his suitcase. "I can carry my own suitcase!" He said.We finally got on the right bus. I can see I looked pretty tired.Brittany was grinning from ear to ear. It is a dream of her's to travel. DB Falns wagons waiting to be loaded at a colliery near Gladbeck in the Ruhr coalfield. ( Not sure I knew exactly where we were at this stage - there were a lot of lines here and several signal boxes were without signs.) I'm sure its all gone now.....

This quick page was made using a pre-printed title I've had since 2001, paper from an old My Minds Eye stack, some flowers leftover from a make-n-take I offered at the Houston Creating Keepsakes Convention in 2016, and some leftover Close to My Heart puffy stickers from my planner stash. I'm working on using up my stash and getting some of my older photos into the scrapbooks. That's my daughter on the right -- she's about to turn 35! The journaling reads, "In the spring of 2000, Christen and several of her fellow Creekview teammates assisted with a Girl Scout swim event organized by Jessica Mason as part of her Girl Scout Silver Award. They taught pool safety, ran obstacle courses, and had fun with the kids and each other. It was a great service project for the swim team."
I made this card using Lawn Fawn's Loads of Fun stamp set coloured with Copic markers. I popped up the laudry basket on foam tape and added glossy accents to the washer to make it look like a glass door. More details at: mochafrapscrapper.blogspot.ca/2016/02/loads-of-fun.html
