Beetle and Seth loading up a little food on top of Little Si.

So this is the first wave of book loading. As you can see I put down some newspaper to make sure the paint does not stick. It feels completely dry but sometimes there is a little patch here and there that will stick when pressure is applied. I ordered some black non-slip shelf liner and that will go in once it gets here so the books are less likely to be damaged..

Loads of discussions in between the shoots. The way it should be an intense learning environment ;)

Ultimate workshop weekend.

One sign probably would have sufficed.. now it seems there's an opening for 'uphill loading'..

Loads of priests and nuns in Rome

Digital. Needed another quick page for another busy day today. I've had this idea in my head for a long time. So I finally got it down on "paper." It is a 6x6 layout for my personal scrap-journal.

There were also loads of ducks walking around the castle area, not giving a shit.

LOAD 4 - These Are the Days, after it thought it out, 28 minutes....

3 photos depicting my day, today - the prompt fit right into my doings...apologies for the poor lighting...

Sometimes loads just don't ride well even when strapped. Slippery metal, not well wrapped and a bouncy truck is not a good combination.

the loading ramp for the passenger ferry to the Islands off of Seattle.

I'm not very good at white space, but really like this! Sketch from Page maps Feb 2011

I had the perfect photo to use for the Kitchen prompt today. My dad bakes a special bunny cake each year for Easter and surprises the kids with how he decorates it each year. He started doing this when my first daughter was born...that was 30 years ago ! I used my Silhouette to cut out the title and hearts.

Another page done. Slowly but surely I am getting this album finished. Mostly I need pics to support the journaling. It's going to happen. This month!

ok, one more for the Your Inner Fifth Grader group. i saw this during my drive to Oregon last week and for some reason it just made me laugh! although i think E got tired of me pointing out the signs every time we'd pass one of these trucks... "look hun! it's another Loooooong Load!!"

yeah, the joke got old real fast... :)

A new puzzle this Spring with the addition of eight large jars. Took a while to figure out how to load!

Brief: to design promo-poster for Loadingspot LLC. This company organizes data in the U.S. trucking industry. Their first project is a database of shippers and receivers.

Challenge: to attract attention of truck drivers to the online project loadingspot.com

Concept: “Care to share? Add review.” Two typical drivers are the heroes of the story. Not all the customers are easy to deal with - two common situations from drivers’ work routine are captured on the illustration. Truck drivers share their experiences via reviews at loadingspot.com - members of trucking community use these reviews to understand customers better, plan their time and even filter their customers.

it's not exactly on the prompt. but close. when i see this picture of my dauhter. i think of this song.

I took the list from the original layout and used it to tell about me and my aunt. thanks for looking. Julie

More from my heritage album...probably boring for you all, but I am excited to get it done!

This is another really simple LO... with inspirations pulled from three different places. First, there were two different LOs on Write.Click.Scrapbook that I pulled into my one LO here. Then, the title came from today's prompt with Kelli Crowe.

While this LO is simple, it's still a little different for me. I'm not sure how exactly, but it is.

Noticing little things.....While eating in a restaurant in Pigeon Forge, I happened to notice our waitress's name card. PENNY PICKLE! She was so nice and very chatty. When we commented on her name she proceeded to tell us her husband's name was Bill and her son's name was Dillon! Bill and Dill Pickle! She left us take her picture but couldn't stop talking enough to smile. Just a chance meeting with a fun lady. It's the little things thay add joy to our day!

This is the "inside" of the 6 x 8 layout - the flap opens out to reveal the full journaling!

Interesting relationship between the tree and rock.
