Heavy Load, final gig, Trafalgar Sq, 4th Sep 2012

Please note: Farrow is a ghost town on privately-owned land, and is watched over by local farmers, so please ask permission before you explore.

I was short on time today, so I looked through my folder of Quick Pages for a color that appealed to me. Usually I am not a pink person . . . but this layout made me think of these photos.

I recenly got a new camera and this was one of the times many I bribed the kids to make faces for me so I could play with the camera :)

H'mong woman on a mountain path

October mist and glare with the sun trying to finish burning through. I liked the muted colors on the grain ship.

My Modus Operani to lose weight.

My Weight Loss Journey

My knee was getting pretty bad. I went and saw knee doctor, and had Arthroscopic Surgery on my knee to clean out the debris. 2 months later the pain was back. At that point, my choices were to limit walking, which wasn't going to cut it or haveing my knee replaced at age 55, or lose weight to hopefully postpone the knee replacement.

After much research, I started on a Doctor Supervised OptiFast diet - basically protein shakes & protein bars for 4 months. After 4 months I will start slowing reducing the shakes and adding adding in real food. When I get to approx 900 calories in food & 2 protein bars, that will be my meals until I get to my goal weight on 165-175 pounds.

My grand niece's senior prom is today...we all gathered for the "photo shoot" and send off in the limo. I can't believe the day finally arrived! And that she's grown!
