10 years lifetime for three Euros
I bought this box with color slides on the trade market. A collection of holiday shots a man did during 10 years of his lifetime. It was the hangover of his heritage. This box leaves me very thoughtful. I did not take a closer look to the slides itself and will keep the box closed as a reminder. Livetime is short and precious.
"Sometimes the anguish we survive
And the mysteries we nurture
Are the fabrics of our lives"
First film roll entirely shot by me! got some good and some bad feelings, but i'm overall pleased with the results and encouraged. This is the sepia version, I'll post the colour version later.
It goes with this song:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZARj7XyYHE
mainly because i was listening to it as i edited this one, but in a way it fits the image as well. As i go through all those religious meditations I often feel as sitting on an empty bench, running from my demons but talking to no one.
The setting is quite pleasant, though ;)
btw the song features my favourite keyboardist(being myself one of them :) ), and is taken off my favourite dt album: Once in a livetime!
