... of my 100.000 flickr clicks jubilee lightpainting picture at the ROXY in Ulm. Playing with a new LP tool. First try, second quality.
Repositioned the weather icon to the taskbar next to the network icon, and centered the city/temp description at the top of the homescreen. I like this look much better. Also reset the update interval to 30 minutes instead of 60. Added custom network logo and moved the phone name to the center of the taskbar, replacing the time. The clock icon on the homescreen is now animated, reflecting the actual time with moving hands. Very neat, IMO. StatusNotifier now works with Byline (Google RSS), which I love. As you can see, I like the idea of taskbar notifications on the iPhone (weather, ringer, sms, RSS, IM, mail, etc). I wish Apple would implement something like this by default. Here's a list of the current modifications, minus a few:
Five-Column Springboard and Dock
Backgrounder (any app can run in background, ie true multi-tasking)
LiveTime (animated clock)
StatusNotifier (taskbar notifications)
Reflective Dock (Winterboard)
Modified Classica Theme w/ icon glow (Winterboard)
WbWeather Widget (Winterboard)
SpringJump (Page 4 icon goes to last springboard page, where I have all of my favorites as picture icons to instantly call)
Lock Calendar (Displays cal events on lockscreen. Uses MobileSubstrate, so it's a much more stable alternative to IntelliScreen)
QuickGold (think QuickSilver for OS X, or Launchy for Windows. Hit the home button, and start typing. Instantly search contacts to call or sms, find and launch an app, go to a bookmark, or start a google search. Good if you have 90+ apps and lots of contacts and bookmarks)
Realistic Haptic feedback (Vibrational)
SbSettings with the following toggles: Location Services, Scrobble (last.fm), Processes (think task manager for backgrounded apps), Fast Notes, iPod pause/play, 3G, Wifi, SSH, Brightness, Bluetooth, Volume, and Airplane Mode.
With all of these modifications, the iPhone is complete. It basically makes it a 'real' smartphone. I can stay on top of everything here. I have my IM running in the background constantly, using Insomnia to keep the network connection alive while the phone is sleeping. I have OTA calendar syncing with Google Cal, mail that updates as often as I set a custom interval to, and notifications that tell me exactly what's going on when I need it; from RSS to the local weather. I have true multitasking of any application when I need to, although it does tend to start chugging when I have more than 5 or 6 apps running at any given time. The iPhone HD will hopefully make up for what the iPhone 3G lacks in the RAM department, if it ever exists. They definitely need to implement something soon though, what with the Palm Pre's display of multi-tasking with ease at CES. If you don't want to wait until then, a little messing around under the hood yourself will get you what you want (or need).

Probably my longest exposure time for a light painting ever! Thanks to the OM-D "live time" function.
Check out the very colorful FHDR version as well!
