Humber Quays One, Hull. July 2008.

This is a great area of Hull and has been highlighted by various flickeratti of the Hull Pool.

As contacts will know by now I've never been one to shy away from a bit of burnt eye retina. I had to take this whilst still wearing sunglasses in fact.

Just goes to show that perhaps my lens etc should have a bit a of a clean.

On another note, 2 minutes 48 into Duran Duran, Burning the ground, has one of the best uplifting peices of music ever. Gives me goose bumps every time.

So there you go, clean my lens, stop damaging my eyes, Hull can be quite good, I do like Duran Duran enormously and think that Burning the ground is a vastly underated single with a omoment of sheer euphoria in it.

Next up, Five Star.

Once open, the App defaults to the Race screen showing driver stats, live race map with driver positions. This screen shows a 'starred' favourite driver, which you choose by selecting a driver from the Leaderboard list. This then concentrates on your chosen driver and then shows race data in relation to your choice.

Rúni and Petur Heðin assigning Faroese swimmers to what seems to have been 6 relays, before the Køge Open meet in Denmark, back in 2007. The event was a 8x50 mix relay, and it seems our plan was to have every relay swim back, breast, back, fly, breast, crawl, fly & crawl. See result list here.

Another try at 'LiveTime' long exposure with ND Filters with my Olympus E-M5. High tides and strong winds. Wind good for waves but not so good for movement amongst the leaves.
