A hydrogen tank attached to Launch Complex 39A as seen on November 2, 2012. Apparently this liquid hydrogen is also a gas. It could be a solid, too, at its triple point, but I don't think that would be helpful here.

Fatima is an analyst at Qatargas, the largest producer of liquified natural gas in the world. She is a social entrepreneur and environmentalist, and was nominated and selected as the only Qatari delegate to attend the One Young World Summit in South Africa in October 2013. The experience reinforced a longtime commitment to underserved and underrepresented communities, especially women. She teaches digital literacy to women and believes that there are pathways for pursuing career goals without compromising traditional Qatari values and culture.

Three days in and I've already missed a day. Looks promising. But I'm planning to go the woods on Tuesday after work so I should be able to get a couple of concepts done.
This photo was originally going to depict the person being sucked into the computer via the liquify tool, but after numerous attempts I realised it looked like poo. So I decided to try out the idea that we're so connected to technology, literally, that when we die it does as well, because our electronic devices are so personalized and we all spend so much time on them that they are a part of us, in a sense.
I don't know, I like the black and white effect though - and this was my first time adding another section to a photo, to make it seem larger/longer! Learning stuff already.

This is a shot of me with my AWESOME wedding couple Sako and Alvina at their truly amazing Armenian wedding last Saturday in Los Angeles, California. It was the longest wedding of my career for a single day which included 17.5 hours of shooting and 22 total hours of working once you include travel without any breaks...You can tell I was tired when I had this picture taken (taken during the 17th hour) because I forgot to suck in my stomach for this shot. I could liquify it but I refuse to do that even on myself....lol.
I was playing around with the liquify tool an was just editing, an kept going an going an going...... this is what you get. bug eyes

This is a snap from the first outing of the Tokina 35mm back in September.
I've been playing in Photoshop Elements trying to do selective colour with layers, and also subtly use the 'Liquify' tool.
The comparison is here. I've tried to 'round out' the conker with the liquify tool and set the background to b&w.

Next create a new layer and using the brush tool, draw in lines to correspond with the pulled skin you created with the Liquify tool. Don't make them too perfect or super straight. Curve them and draw them in to fit with the contours of your eye. You can do straight stitches or the criss-crossed 'X' stitches. If this is your first go at this, I'd recommend the straight stitches as they are easier. It also just depends on your personal preference, whichever stitches you like best or work better with your image.
Also, the reason I say to create a new layer for the stitches is so that if you make a mistake (a crooked stitch, accidentally painting your nose or something) you can erase on the new layer without messing up all the work you did in Liquify. If you don't like your stitches you can delete the new layer and redo it without having to start from the beginning.

A pump for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) vehicles. Because the gas is in liquid form, it's very cold − approximately -162 °C (-260 °F)!
LNG is the preferred fueling method for heavy-duty natural gas vehicles (NGVs) -- those with weight and range requirements typically fuel up on LNG, which allows them to store more fuel on board with less tank weight.
A typical 18-wheeler uses up to 20,000 gallons of fuel per year. Replacing only 100,000 of these trucks with those powered by LNG would immediately cut our consumption of diesel fuel up to 2 billion gallons per year.
What's more, converting just 350,000 would create 420,000 jobs directly and add an additional 1.2 million jobs indirectly.

A shot from my first attempt on creating a melting ice time lapse! It didn't go too great, but it was a learning experience. I got to see which way the water ended up flowing, appropriate settings I should use next time and all that jazz. I'll be trying to perfect the second one tomorrow!

A green gas world...Inspired by a NASA photo of Jupiter. This is entirely generated in Photoshop using samples from various images of mine, 'hammering' them with the liquify tool then adding the moon and it's shadow as layers, it only took a few minutes to do just as an experiment, but i'll spend longer on a more complex one later... _22A6522jup01
