I am a Global Business Leadership major. During the cohorts last year they encouraged us all to go out of our comfort zone. I started looking at may terms and knew the culture, food, politics, etc. of Thailand would be an amazing experience for me. In this picture the expression on my face accurately depicts the limits I pushed out of my comfort zone while studying Thai culture, society and business. The sweet elephant is showing his affection by giving me a kiss in this photo but my face reflects the feeling of a vacuum hose suctioning my neck!
Even though the figure is a Spanish conquistador, the cannon is anachonistic. It's actually an 1848 eight-inch gun and has been mounted upside down for some reason.
