I'm still trying to define the range of my new gear, so I thought "what the heck, lets see what I get here". This was the result. Ironically, there was a burned out street lamp directly above me that would've been quite welcomed.

The speed limit for the Ohio Turnpike was 70 mph back in the 1960s... It became 70 mph again in 2011, after being 55 then later 65 for decades. I believe the road was also 75 mph for a brief time in the late 1960s or early 1970s.
Here is a map that I figured I would share. As some of you know, I do collect some maps. I decided to back up the maps digitally in case something unforeseen happens to them (such as fire). It also gives me a chance to share them online if anyone is interested. Some of the maps are more delicate so I will have to figure something else out for those ones.
This map is a 1966 version of the Ohio Turnpike map. It also shows other existing Interstate highways in the state of Ohio, planned interstates at the time, and the turnpikes that existed at the time in the Northeastern US.

Since Queen Diana has taken the throne, all citizens of the Shining City, including Freya, were fitted with an elemental limiter that cuts off access to their elemental powers. Diana does this to keep them under control more easily.
Freya is my latest character in an RP I play with DA's Niretta and Aor-Draco, a disgraced princess who actually found herself in a new and dangerous universe while researching it. She uses her crystal prosthetics to defend her new friends from Makuta and Rahkshi.

The Ferrari GTO (often referred to as Ferrari 288 GTO)(Type F114) is an exotic homologation of the Ferrari 308 GTB produced from 1984 to 1987 in Ferrari's Maranello factory, designated GT for Gran Turismo and O for Omologata (homologated in Italian).
Some of the GTO's styling features were first displayed on a 308 GTB design exercise by Pininfarina shown at the 1977 Geneva Auto Salon. The 288 GTO had started out as a modified version of the 308/328 to hold down costs and to build the car quickly, but little of the 308/328 was left when the 288 GTO was finished.
Easily noticeable differences were the GTOs bulging fender flares, larger front/rear spoilers, large "flag-style" outside mirrors and four driving lights at the far sides of the grille. Retained from the original 250 GTO were slanted air vents, put in the GTO's rear fenders to cool the brakes, as well as the rear wing's design, borrowed from the 250 GTO's original wing. The GTO also had wider body panels than the 308's because they had to cover much larger Goodyear tires mounted on racing wheels.
The GTO was based on the rear mid-engine, rear wheel drive 308 GTB, which has a 2.9 L (2,927 cc) V8. The "288" refers to the GTO's 2.8 litre DOHC 4 valves per cylinder V8 engine as it used a de-bored by 1 mm (0.04 in) with IHI twin-turbochargers, Behr air-to-air intercoolers, Weber-Marelli fuel injection and a compression ratio of 7.6:1. The 2.85 litre engine capacity was dictated by the FIA's requirement for a turbocharged engine's capacity to be multiplied by 1.4. This gave the GTO an equivalent engine capacity of 3,997 cc (4.0 L; 243.9 cu in), just under the Group B limit of 4.0 litres.
Unlike the 308's 2,927 cc (2.9 L; 178.6 cu in) engine, the GTO's 2,855 cc (2.9 L; 174.2 cu in) V8 was mounted longitudinally, using the 308's rear trunk space. This was necessary to make room for the twin turbochargers and intercoolers. The racing transmission was mounted to the rear of the longitudinal engine, moving the rear differential and wheels aft. The arrangement also let the GTO use a more conventional race-car engine/transmission layout for such things as quick gear-ratio changes for various tracks. As a result, the wheelbase was 110 mm (4.3 in) longer at 2,450 mm (96.5 in).

Olaf hops in the back of the sleigh, and Kristoff sits next to Anna. He is a very large fellow, so he is actually sitting partly on the arm of the bench and partly on the center peg. He holds onto the reins around Sven.
Classic Anna replaces Olaf in the front bench. To make room for her legs, the bench has to be pushed back about an inch. It is not locked in place anymore, but is fairly steady due to the side rails of the sled and the weight of Anna. Kristoff and Olaf wait by the sled for their turn to hop in.
Classic Kristoff and Anna 12'' dolls by the Disney Store (actually Anna is the otherwise identical doll from the D23 Frozen doll set) join the scene, and Anna leaves. Kristoff and Anna want to ride in the sleigh. Olaf is sitting in the front bench.
Toddler Anna is wearing her pink winter hood on her head. She has her winter dress and boots on, but doesn't come with cape or mittens. She is 14'' H, and has long orange hair with white hair scattered throughout (not just in a single streak, as in the movie). It is braided into two pigtails, and she has long curly front bangs. She has large blue green eyes, and her pink lips form an open smile.
The sleigh comes with a front bench for Olaf. The bench fits into tabs in the sides of the sleigh. Olaf fits into a large round peg in the middle of the bench. The sleigh is 14'' H x 6'' W x 7'' H. Olaf is 6'' H (without his hair). The bench's inside width is 5''. The back of the sleigh can slide back to become a bed for Toddler Anna. The pieces are all sturdy and well built.
The cardboard backing tray has been removed from the box, so we can now see the contents in the clear. They are attached to the backing and the cardboard and plastic spacers by wires, ties, rubber bands and T-tabs. Then all the items are removed from the packaging.
I just received the Disney Frozen Anna's Frozen Adventure Sleigh Set by Tollytots, from ToysRUs. It contains a toddler version of Anna in her winter outfit, an Olaf figure, a large sleigh with removable front bench and reclinable back seat. The Anna doll isn't that movie accurate, but she is cute. The Olaf isn't posable. But Olaf and the sleigh are about the right size to match up with my 12'' Frozen dolls, which is the reason why I bought this item, despite its rather high price of $49.95. I will be deboxing the set soon, and trying them out with my 12'' Frozen dolls (especially Classic Anna and Kristoff) and my large Sven plush.

I made this image nearly a year ago when I met Chris for the first time. This is the first time this composition is seeing the light of the day. I had two other compositions that had better sky. This bridge is known as the 360 Bridge after HWY 360 though it has another name, Pennybacker Bridge.
My first visit here with my family in tow, we were treated to a spectacular sunset which was followed very soon by some brutally cold winds which cut short our plans to shoot the Austin skyline.
After taking a load of park visitors to the eastern limits of the Scranton Yard, the Steamtown National Historic Site's "Yard Shuttle" train heads back to the roundhouse area, with Baldwin Switcher #26 providing the power. Currently the only operable steam locomotive at the park, the 26 typically operates on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, mainly during the peak tourist season in the summer, but occasionally at other park events. She leaves the roundhouse about 30 minutes after the park opens and participates in a turntable demonstration, before heading out into the yard and coupling to her train. The Yard Shuttle makes 4 runs each day, departing the roundhouse area, backing to nearby Bridge 60, then switching onto the main line for a quick sprint out to the yard limits before reversing the process. It's about a 30 minute trip and is available to patrons on a ticketed basis for a very nominal cost. After the last trip, the locomotive will then return to roundhouse and participate in another turntable demo, before going back to quarters. While in the roundhouse, the locomotive and crew can be viewed going about their servicing duties from a walk-bridge which overlooks the engine's stall.
Of interest in this frame, is the little locomotive in the distance on the left. On static display with a short freight in the Scranton Yard is Rahway Valley #15, a little Baldwin 2-8-0, built in 1916. After serving a couple of railroads, the Oneida & Western and Rahway Valley for nearly 40 years, this engine came into the collection of F. Nelson Blount, who founded the original Steamtown USA collection in Bellows Falls, VT. For a number of years in the 1960s, this little engine was one of several locomotives in that collection which were maintained in operable condition, and which ran regular excursions between Bellows Falls and Chester, VT under the railroad name of Monadnock, Steamtown & Northern. It was at the original Steamtown, where I first saw this locomotive, although it was not operating the day I was there. Needless to say, the years have not treated her kindly, but I am glad to see that she does occasionally get a fresh coat of paint. I have often thought that instead of tackling massive locomotive projects, the restoration folks at the park might be better off restoring an engine of this size, which would still enable excursions outside the park limits, but would cost far less to restore and operate than some of the larger engines that have operated here in the past.
