I was walking around the Second City Council Art Gallery (the reception site for Natalie & Tyler) on Saturday with several thousand dollars worth of wedding rings in my hand, looking for something unique to do with them. Then I saw this light switch, hiding in the corner, with the auspicious note to leave the switch on the right on, which were the lights above the bride & groom’s table. Needless to say, seeing that note on there just got me excited. Probably the easiest wedding ring shot I’ve ever done, but also probably my favorite.
The rest of their photos are here in their gallery along with another favorite ring shot. (guess which one)

I felt inspired to do a shot like this by this image by : : deNNis gErbECkx : :.
I liked the simplicity in his image and the feeling of the old germany this expresses. I like his image better than mine but I am very proud of my outcome though.
You will understand that if you take a look at the Before/After that I published on my Blog.
I will definitely share more images of the recent UrbEx trip during the next days.
I went there with robért0 so you might watch his updates too.

Worked from home today - really nice to get a bit of a rest and not have to deal with the commute. Still very tired, but feeling a bit better now, I think. Popped out at lunchtime to post a card, but otherwise spent all day on the sofa :)
...a polka-dot has the form of the sun, which is a symbol of the energy of the whole world and our living life, and also the form of the moon, which is calm. Round, soft, colorful, senseless and unknowing. Polka-dots become movement... Polka dots are a way to infinity. - Yayoi Kusama

Found this guy while walking the halls of the Shoe Factory Artists Co-operative in Rochester, NY... and the definition definitely seems to explain this perfectly. Personally, I'm not afraid of the dark, but what's in it. LOL!

FIA Group C 1989.
Jaguar's answer to the turbo era, the XJR-10/11 cars used the v6 engine from the Metro Group B rally car with a pair of turbochargers stuck on it. Drivers would say it had the tractability of a lightswitch.
The chassis and bodywork were a continuation of Tony Southgate's work on the preceding v12 XJR cars. Nearly identical aero approaches defined very similar nose and windscreen profiles as well as the distinctive rear wheel covers. The more compact drivetrain allowed for tidier rear bodywork. An adaptation of the car for IMSA GTP regulations ran as the XRJ-11 in Castrol colors.
Since my 350D can't manage multiple exposure, I wanted to experiment something with a light switch. During the couple seconds of opened shutter, I changed pose quickly while I turned the light off and on, creating several overlaping figures in one photo.
