I have always been inspired by those lovely flower pics with sun behind them. Tried my hand at that during my recent trip to Goa, India, and this was the result. The colours do stir my feminine side!

Fallow bucks having a late altercation. Noticed that some were grazing again and with the weather set to worsen this may be approaching the end of the rut
The shape of the petals and the camera angle resembles a lightshade. Therefore used that for my inspiration when editing the image.

I was taking a pic of this lovely dog, when the Italian owner noticed & complained that he was photo-worthy too! So I took another one of them all. I think it's a lovely shot!

This week's Macro Mondays theme is Hard Light ... we've had some beautiful early Spring days here in the UK so I thought I'd take my shoot outside and use the low sun as my "hard lighting". I just love the structure of the teasels and it really complemented the light and shadow.
A patio picture, large weathered pot as background, lighting is sunlight reflected from my patio door, wondered where it came from!. Just colours and shadow really. Quiet and peaceful.

Thought I ought to make a start on the scavenger hunt. This is our hallway lightshade.
Bright & sunny orange, Flowering Maple blossoms! Such a cheery sight blooming in my front window in the dead of winter! (Best viewed on black)
