I love this shot for some reason. Light posts on the steps of the Library of Congress, taken with my Olympus e-510, 1/ 250 sec at f/ 13, ISO 200, 110 mm (Zuiko Digital 1:4-5,6, 40-150mm zoom).

This photo was taken of me in Austin during the year 1993. I was a freshman, very thin, and had very short hair. One of the Vega twins or Caroline took it - I can't remember.

These extremely detailed props were on EVERY lightpost in the park. There were a freaking ton of them.

1. The principle of design that this photo investigates is asymmetry. It is a light post that is on one side of the photo.

2. The most successful part of the photo to me is the background of the sky behind the post.

It just seems like a jolly picture to me. =D
