Novato, CA. All that remains of a beautiful mid-century bowling alley that was demolished around 2004, right before I bought my camera. It was called Nave Lanes, and according to one account, most of the interior was auctioned off on eBay...

Shot of the light posts, under the BLUE SKY!!

You can barely see the outline of the trees in the background (lower left and center)

IR taken in dense fog. Overlooking the Ohio River that you can't see.

When I was done with my trail walk I saw this little guy sitting on a lightpost! He didn't seem to mind at all that I kept walking closer and closer to him to get a better shot :)

Incredibly colorful scene during sunset next to the library at Spanish River. Photo isn't tweaked, this is exactly how things looked.

not my shoes.... are they yours????

seen whilst out wandering around the block

I couldn't resist... her mom didn't order this as an enlargement so I threw it in for free because she NEEDED IT ENLARGED!! haha

I always find light posts to be good subjects. I was really impressed with the new Sony's autoFocus, especially for subject tracking and pull-focus techniques.. As someone who regularly uses manual focus, I could get use to this laziness! ;)

Another on of Riverton's famed gas street lamps, this one has a nice iron gate attached to it. I'm not sure if that's strictly legal, but it's beautiful so it should just be left alone.

this kinda reminds me of narnia cept its not snowing

Seeing what I can see from my car window.

The kids living at Pear Tree did all the illustrating for the posts. All of the drawings were based on several themes (trees, butterflies, pears) and were sent to Pomegranate Center to be transfered to concrete tiles.
