Every house needs a fence and a gate,
Will be nice if I made life size for our garden,
I am all done with the gingerbread houses,
time to start the chocolates for Christmas.

Flickr friends, I am happy to be back following a break, and this shot taken last June seemed like a good candidate for both Wing Wednesday and Window Wednesday. I will likely be on and off for a while yet, but on days that I post, I'll do my best to check in on your latest images.

The sign says FOR SALE......could have been a test run, as this sailboat made many circular laps, thus giving me the photo opportunity to capture the sails under variable lighting conditions.
In this capture, the sun was low in the sky, casting a beautiful warm glow that illuminated both the boat's sails and the whitecaps on this beautiful bay - turning the caps to gold.

Friday morning while sitting in front of my computer I saw this from our window,
Happy weekend everyone!
Driving on the QEW in Toronto and had to take advantage of how the fog was kind of still lingering around the buildings, and the texture of the clouds were just right.
I have searched all over Florida to find Owls, and recently, they have come to see me. A Mom, a Dad, and a baby, on lamp posts right outside my front door. We look just about every night...and every few days...they come to visit. Blessings of blessings.

What struk me with this view of the river and of the suggested path were the divergent leading lines which complemented each other: the curved light post line; the line from the other shore to the mass of trees and beyond along the foot path and the diagonals from left to right under the leaves of the trees along the footpath again.
Yesterday we got invited for breakfast by the harbor,
as we walked towards the Gazebo these 10 Canadian Geese
few over us,
Note I commented early on all the photos and when I got back home finished the ones I missed.

Its been awhile since I went for sunsets by the harbor,
here I captured the Moon with Venus.
Have a smiling Sunday everyone.
One night at the harbor after sunset I saw Venus getting close to Mr. Moon,
I just love the colors after the sun has gone for half hour.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Wintereinbruch im April und ich muss zugeben: mir gefällt's. Eigentlich könnte man fast eine Faustregel aufstellen: je ungemütlicher das Wetter, desto spannender für den Landschaftsfotografen.
Onset of winter in April and I have to admit: I like it. Actually, one could almost set up a rule of thumb: the more uncomfortable the weather, the more exciting it is for the landscape photographer.
