Incredibly colorful scene during sunset next to the library at Spanish River. Photo isn't tweaked, this is exactly how things looked.
I couldn't resist... her mom didn't order this as an enlargement so I threw it in for free because she NEEDED IT ENLARGED!! haha
I always find light posts to be good subjects. I was really impressed with the new Sony's autoFocus, especially for subject tracking and pull-focus techniques.. As someone who regularly uses manual focus, I could get use to this laziness! ;)

Another on of Riverton's famed gas street lamps, this one has a nice iron gate attached to it. I'm not sure if that's strictly legal, but it's beautiful so it should just be left alone.
The kids living at Pear Tree did all the illustrating for the posts. All of the drawings were based on several themes (trees, butterflies, pears) and were sent to Pomegranate Center to be transfered to concrete tiles.
New lightposts for this multi-sport court in San Diego was a simple fix to a problem Coast Guard members experienced at this location. Broken exterior lights meant they couldn't use the space past dark, really limiting their use of the courts. With support from the Coast Guard Foundation, new lights were installed to extend the daily use of the space in a big way.
