not my shoes.... are they yours????

seen whilst out wandering around the block

I always find light posts to be good subjects. I was really impressed with the new Sony's autoFocus, especially for subject tracking and pull-focus techniques.. As someone who regularly uses manual focus, I could get use to this laziness! ;)

Another on of Riverton's famed gas street lamps, this one has a nice iron gate attached to it. I'm not sure if that's strictly legal, but it's beautiful so it should just be left alone.

this kinda reminds me of narnia cept its not snowing

Seeing what I can see from my car window.

The kids living at Pear Tree did all the illustrating for the posts. All of the drawings were based on several themes (trees, butterflies, pears) and were sent to Pomegranate Center to be transfered to concrete tiles.

Yankees Championship Parade - Canyon of Heroes - New York, NY. 11/6/2009

This was a long exposure night shot return home from work. I was inside my care shooting out the window trying to hold it steady. I'm still new with night shots, but I think it looks cool.

Light post overlooking the Sam Houston Tollway somewhere near Hwy 35.

'Amsterdamse paal' model 1883. Just trying out über backlight / contrast shot as an idea.

These are old photos that never got my attention for one reason or another that I've now realized i really enjoy.

You can't tell how big the ravens in town are from this shot because I could never get close enough to them, but trust me...they're huge.

Near Parque Central, Guate

This photo was taken of me in Austin during the year 1993. I was a freshman, very thin, and had very short hair. One of the Vega twins or Caroline took it - I can't remember.
