I did not have time to take a walk at noon today so I snapped this on the way to my car this evening. I liked the "alien" look of the foggy scene.

A much painted over light bulb emblem on a light pole in Hamilton Heights. The emblem was used by New York Edison, ConEd's predecessor, and indicates that this light pole is more than a century old.

I really liked the "War of the Worlds" vibe. Spooky.

Didn't go out most of today. The plan was to go out around sunset for some good light. Then I looked up a little bit later and it was full-on nighttime. So, I went out in the balls-cold night and took a boring picture of a streetlight.

So... After work as I was pulling out of the parking lot this Hawk flew by me. He stopped at this light pole so I pulled over and started taking pics of him. Before I knew it I was surrounded by several RGH Security guards who were frieking out that I was taking pictures on hospital grounds.

The RGH Police would not let me take anymore pics of the Hawk and they made me show them the pics that I did take. I think that they thought I was some terrorist. They even called my License Plate Number in. And I had on my name tag and my uniform. Ugggggggggg.

After the cruise, we rented a car for the day (since our flight was later) and hung out in Hollywood, FL. They already started decorating for Christmas, which felt weird when it's 80-something degrees outside!
