everybody was just hanging out there, talking to each other. i guess they were all waiting on some cars or something, but it was an incredibly tranquil and social situation.

I turned, saw a simple light pole, then noticed the great shadow line, the great clouds and knew there was a photo in there somewhere.

In the parking lot of our local McDonald's it seems this light pole and fixture have been grounded. It's hard to believe that anyone could be going fast enough in this little parking lot to knock over a light pole cemented into the ground.

Sean and I were lucky to capture numerous shots of this Red Tail Hawk in Alviso. At this moment these two hawks flew over this one to check it out. This hawk was not scared and held its ground on top of the light pole.
I cloned out the sign at the far part of the bridge. I also tried to straighten out some edges with he camera correction tool in Elements. I compromised on both fronts using iso 800 and 1/10.
