Light Night Leeds is the UK’s largest annual arts and light festival. This spectacular two night event takes over Leeds city centre, transforming it into a dreamland with more than 60 dazzling installations and performances from local, national and international artists.
This year’s event starts with a magnificent procession of illuminated dancers, drummers, monsters and marionettes that will bring dreams to life on the streets of Leeds, celebrating this year’s theme of Mind, Body and Spirit. The parade takes place on Thursday, October 10 at 7.30pm and will mark the official opening of this year's two-night extravaganza.
A full Light Night Leeds 2019 Festival Guide will be available to buy in the lead up and during the event for £2 at venues across the city centre including Leeds Visitor Centre

The Seattle Aquarium is a public aquarium opened in 1977 and located on Pier 59 on the Elliott Bay waterfront in Seattle, Washington, USA. It is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). The aquarium opened on May 20, 1977, and was initially owned and operated by the City of Seattle, Department of Parks and Recreation. Today's photo manipulation for PicsArt's daily remix challenge. I absolutely love how this turned out. Momma wanted something “heavenly” so I shall deliver exactly that!…. See… darkart isn’t the only thing I can make look good😂😉😁
The little snow leopard continues to snooze ... window light falling through our bedroom Venetian blind!

This was done for practice with light effects, but it is rather too pretty for my taste. I posted it all the same as I think it shows how photoshop can alter the mood of a scene and make it a bit more interesting.

The final touches are now being added to Tokyo's Sky Tree and recently they have been working on a variety of lighting designs like the one above. Under the railway bridge to the left you can see the cherry blossom trees in full bloom. There have been many parties going on underneath them well in to the night for about the past 10 days. It's a great time to visit Japan.

A gorgeous landscape photo that I added rainbow palette colors, drama fx, Cinerama fx, masking, custom water, and the rainbow & skyline in the back. It's a different style than I'm used to but I like the outcome.

Was happy to see this booth up while I was visiting a fun party called Sonic Warriors Unlimited [SWU]. A tip in the DJ's tip jar gets you a nice SWU illuminated patch. The night club is at M2D creations, makers of lighting effects. This booth display is showing their migration into Sansar. I can't wait till I make it there.
For now, here is how to get to M2D Creations in Second Life:
This is what happens when one is bored, it's late at night, and strange ideas pop into your head.
The effect was created by taking a brand new green sponge and slicing it thin enough so that a flash light would shine through it. The room lighting picked up these warm highlights on the edges of the sponge, which was unexpected (because it wasn't visible to me -- it still looked green), but very, very cool.
Here are the other two in this series:
Nice and easy with good old window lighting! The light picked up the ;little sparkles on this gift bag, nicely!

I love seeing the hidden yellow centre of these tulips. They are lit from the ceiling light and the diffused overcast light from the window.
Celebrating my marvellous mother's 95th birthday, yesterday, March 1st. A great time was had by all, those of us present in person and other family members who joined us electronically. Photo lit by overhead lights, remaining daylight through the window and candlelight.
Just rockets, garlic greens and Grand Rapids lettuce under the full spectrum LED light at the moment. While things will grow on the windowsills, I find my lettuces do best with 16 hours a day light.

I'm afraid it is, again, lovely soft window light falling on these beautiful carnations!
