This is the light-fitting in the Ladies at the hotel where we have Christmas lunch.
It's very clever of her to find wallpaper and lights that go together so very perfectly.
What a good thing I even take my camera to the loo with me!
I have to say that none of this type of thing is what i would want in my own house, but they look fine in this context.

Cut a small square of foam bigger than the straw and centralise it. Glue the straw to the square with the strips aimed towards the corners of the lid. Stick a sharp piece of wood like a cocktail stick though the straw and into the lid. This is to strengthen the lightfitting so that should the light get accidentally knocked it won't break. Cut this of to match the top of the straw

78 Derngate was the architect's final major commission, designed and remodelled by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1916, the house has been meticulously restored and opened to the public.

This picture is part of the Photography for Change Project in Exeter, which was 10-week participatory photography programme that enabled participants to create their own photo-story or photographic theme and build a portfolio of images that reflect the positive aspects of their lives.
This project used photography as a means of engagement and empowerment and was managed by Meridian Raw CIC and part funded by the Big Lottery Fund
The grand light fittings in the The grand entrance hall of Penrhyn Castle, North Wales. Penrhyn castle, a 19th century recreation of a Norman style castle. But this castle is a no expense spared Victorian era palace.

I was trying to get a balance between the actual light source from the cap and the shadow on the roof above, without trying to over expose the light source.
