Cut glass light fitting, with a horrible yellow light shining from it. Cliche? I think so.
It's taken me the bext part of 9 months, but today I finally fitted the light in our brand new porch. Small victories.

Well... *sigh*
Felt very ill today so I played WoW and ate stuff. Then we went to IKEA. I fell in love with everything.
I did this painting many years ago as part of a calligraphy class. It still hangs in "Katrinas room" although it has been taken over by her niece "for sleepovers" with Nanna and Poppa. Katrina and I were talking about "letter" photos so I decided to try and take a shot of this. Sounds easy, but taking a photo through glass I found not so easy. I tried every setting on the camera and placed the picture everywhere. I had so many photos of reflections of me, the window, lightfittings etc in it. This was the best of an average lot.
