"Art, which is masculine, nurtures science which is feminine. Sight is the sense of Glory, hearing is the sense of Faith. The ideal quality of a work of art is harmony, which in the visual arts comes from light that gives relief and decorates. Architecture is the ordering of light."
by Antoni Gaudí
Casa Batlló is a building designed by Antoni Gaudi and built in years 1905–1907; located Passeig de Gràcia, part of the Illa de la Discòrdia in the Eixample district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.
Gaudi was a passionate observer, learning from what he saw in the sky and the clouds, in water, rocks, plants, animals, and mountains.
To understand Gaudí's achievement we must recognize that his work is not exclusively architectural. It is more than that, it is not architectural in the sense that historians understand architecture. Gaudí's work does not fit into traditional schemes of architecture.
Paeonia suffruticosa, the tree peony, is a species of peony native to China. Paeonia Suffruticosa is the plant’s botanical name. More commonly, the plant is referred as the tree peony. It is an important symbol in Chinese culture. It was first described and validly published by Henry Charles Andrews in 1804. The flower component is its most attracting feature of the plant. Paeonia Suffruticosa’s flower is very large in comparison with most other flower species. The size of the flower usually ranges from 6-12 inches cross. The name Paeonia Suffruticosa is derived from two different sources. The genus name Paeonia derives from the name Paeon. In Greek mythology, this name was a disciple of the god of medicine, Ascleplus. Suffruticosa has a more complex name origin as it is composed in two different parts. The first part suf- , which is only a prefix, and the second part fruticosa, meaning shrub-like. The epidermis of its roots is used in traditional Chinese medicine, called "mudanpi". Despite their classification as trees, it is the flowers that attract the public’s attention. Peonies are generally slow to grow and have flowers that only last briefly and are fragile to weather conditions such as wind, rain or hot temperatures.
In China, it is generally known as the “king of flowers”, symbolizing honor, rich, and aristocracy, as well as love affection, and feminine beauty. It has been frequently portrayed and appraised in various significant Chinese literatures and art.

Today I had to visit the central station in Düsseldorf.
I used the stay for some photos from a subway station.

when we created this character, Sandra Palletier and me, we already though about a strong personality with a powerful mind. This is just the conclusion of this way.
To breathe
To be free
Never to hide
From who you are
What you are
How are you
But to appreciate the deepest part of your soul
That makes you feel whole
The darkest days have washed away into the forest of hate
Now you come to see
And recognize your beauty
From inside
You shine the brightest
When you look in the mirror
You no longer have to shiver
Be afraid or ashamed?
No.
It’s time to fly
Leave your shell
Break through your nest of hibernation
Be free to be who you are
What you are
How you are
Though, times are hard
Your strength keeps YOU going
Keeps YOU driven
Keeps YOU beautiful
Inside and out
Now, fly Black Butterfly fly
And don’t be afraid to fall
Because YOU are powerful
YOU are different
YOU escaped the nest
And transformed into the person YOU have been wishing to be
You’re a beautiful Black Butterfly
So why cry?
You’ve outgrown that stage of being afraid
It’s time to take that leap of faith
Into the darkest waters
Where they’re sharks still ready to attack
Ready to judge
Ready to depreciate your value to the world
So I ask…
Dear Lord, give me strength
Fight for me!
Fight for those scared to flock their wings!
As they run away from problems
Like it changes anything
So be proud
And scream aloud
That you are a Black Butterfly
Loved and appreciated
Life may NOT be what it seems
But we still smile
Through those grieving skies
We shall not live in lies
It is our time to shine
Because I love
Who I am
What I am
How I am
I am the darkest of those butterflies
I have the kindest heart around
I want that endless peace of mind
And to the eyes that still were blind
And didn’t recognize
I am the first Black Butterfly
The one who lived in a past that was full of sorrow
That now lays heavily on my back
Trying to breathe
To be free from all hate
Never to hide
From who you are
What you are
How are you
But, as I step out of the nest
I close my eyes and fly in the sky
Free as I could ever be
Black Butterfly
Arise
