A black hole - a tremendous creation
Its physics defies imagination
Time and space it can bend
Wow! I can't comprehend
The gravity of this situation
Turns out it is possible to fire a BB through a bulb without shattering it.

Day 73
It's not secret that I've been uninspired due to the lack of work, so I took that rut and turned it into my inspiration.A self portrait of me and behind, photos I've taken from the past and moments with the people I care about.
The darker area surrounding the lightbulb is due to radiation that was scattered after hitting the lightbulb
Test render of new light bulb guys. I tried a little something different this time by adjusting the body trying to add a little more detail. I was trying to give them more of a human shape this time around. See the entire Flickr set here: Light Bulb Wars
A very common issue we run across weekly is when someone replaces the garage door opener lightbulb but it doesn't turn on. Tried a bunch of bulbs and still no luck? Welcome to the club. We do have the fix however! The prong will either be corroded or pushed to far down so the light bulb doesn't get a good connection.
We recommend the genie minimum frequency interruption lightbulb. Some lightbulbs actually mess with the signal from your remotes and sometimes you aren't able to open the door from very far. You can order that bulb here: www.garagedoorguidance.com/garage-door-parts/miscellaneous/

Bought a pack of lightbulbs to replace the dead ones in my bathroom. Let's see how many ways I can incorporate these little bulbs into photos over this next week.
A tribute to Cutea Benelli, whose incredible work gave me the idea to put the underwater lightbulbs at Syncretia into an outfit, is very much in order here...

I was looking this up online and found it kind of creative:
You can use a small craft saw to carefully saw off the bottom off the metal screw end. Just be sure not to saw it at an angle, and be sure do it at the end, just above the 'point'. If you do this correctly you will not break the vacuum in the bulb. There are two very thin wires that need to be broken, a simple twist of the cap will do that for you. I was lucky and was able to break the glass cleanly within the metal screw, so it was hidden. Then I carefully chipped away so of the excess glass and coated the sharp edge with a layer of hot-glue. Worked like a charm, now I can't cut myself!
Also, another tip: If you DO have a white bulb, do not worry, once you have broken the seal of the bulb and removed the glowing filament, run some water into the bulb, the white removes almost instantly! Now you have a clean clear bulb to craft into something creative.
Believe it or not, this was a standard 60watt white-coated bulb. I'll probably make a planter out of this one.. I dunno, maybe stuff it with LEDs and hang it in my room or over my desk?
