Yeah, I know--the classic light bulb in a goblet in front of a shelf overflowing with programming books shot. It's a cliché right up there with sunsets and flower macros, but when you're doing an experimental roll, it often makes sense to stick to the tried and true formulae like this.

This tower was used for testing the quality of the Philips light bulbs.

so a standard bulb can be used instead of a candelabra bulb.

The burning filament in a lightbulb. A hole was drilled in the bulb to let the air in to let the filament burn in a few seconds.
