taken aaaaages ago, i made sure it was completely dark by using a duvet over me, and had two different coloured LED lights that were passed around the bulb, the bulb is lit using only this light. View On Black
Lightbulb macro. Not really an intentional image - moreof a by-product of some photographic experimentation that didn't produce the results I hoped for.

For some reason I decided to have a wander around Beltcraft Studio and photograph the lightbulbs hanging from the roof :-)
So here is different shot, something that happens so fast that we cannot see it.

Canon 430 exII @ 1/16 with softbox with black card in the middle behind subject; fired with sound trigger (delay 3 or 4ms).
Light bulb dropped from ~1m on glass with black cardboard underneath.
An idea carried through - posted for the DPS weekly assignment.
