There was some interest in seeing this rural scene with blue skies. So I am posting the original color version today. I still like the play of light and shadows. But I think this is one time I prefer the B&W version.

This photo I took a while ago in the evening at Katzensee. This person stood very nicely beside that tee, in the sunset.

Big thanks for viewing, favs and comments, much appreciated 💕

The bright blue sky above the Red Canyon walls and the solar reflection create an impressive natural marvel of geological patterns and swirling colors.

When the mind ventures into realms beyond the ordinary, to be met with a vibrant display of swirling colors..

It's like the universe whispering secrets and revealing truths.

A tranquil winter forest scene with a frozen lake, surrounded by bare trees. The soft light filtering through the branches adds a melancholic and mysterious atmosphere to the black-and-white photograph. Shot on Agfa APX 100 film with a Minolta Dynax 700si, the image is unedited, highlighting the timeless beauty of analog photography.

Happy Monochrome Bokeh Thursday

Played around with my camera with a closeup lens in front. Just photographed what was in front of me on my desk :)

Disco feeling at the Folkwang Museum in Essen. Funny, I felt transported back to my youth and had the songs from back then in my ears. Only that I didn't get dizzy from the strobe light back then. Nevertheless, it was a beautiful spectacle as thousands and thousands of light points swirled through the room and were thrown back and forth.

to life on this beautiful earth

happy equinox :-)

and my thanks for sharing the shadows and light!

From the lanes around the north Shropshire town of Kinnerly, there are some great examples of English trees, this Oak sleeping without his summer coat, waiting for spring.

Moment captured at Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners, Wisconsin. (USA)

"To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place…I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them".

-Elliott Erwitt

This is a photo of a tree I took a while ago in the forest of Hönggerberg. I liked how there was just a bit of light touching the mossy side of this tree, revealing some texture in bark and moss.

There is a crack in everything.

It is from there that light enters.

C’è una crepa in ogni cosa.

E’ da lì che entra la luce.
