Un día en la playa vi pasar dos veleros que se mimetizaban con el paisaje, lo guarde en mi mente para pintarlo mas tarde.... cuando termine mi cuadro ya estaba oscureciendo.

Lienzos de gran formato en los que introducir una composición de un paisaje urbano nevado, los tranvias, las personas, edificios, atomóviles y personajes junto a los postes del tendido eléctrico, todo bajo un cielo espectacular que ilumina con su luz especial del momento, todos los diversos elementos organizados para ofrecer las sensaciones de profundidad en una calle. La nieve con su riqueza de tonos es la que conjunta todas las partes de la pintura, contraste de los rojos del tranvia en una atmósfera gloval nevada, Cuadros grandes sobre llienzo de 130 x 81 centímetros que voy pintando en alternacia de los papeles con otros temas. Obras del artista pintor Ernest Descals. Pintar a lo grande, en cuanto a su superficie, es una forma de demostrar el apetito de los artistas para conseguir una plástica espectacular.

En esta obra, de 120x70, realizada en acrílico sobre lienzo, he querido mostrar aspectos de su arquitectura y de sus materiales. Cualidades ambas que me enamoran.
Cubos de mármol junto a cubos de cristal, cilindros de hormigón e inmensas escalinatas que parecen alcanzar el horizonte, constituyen su geometría.
Muros de mármol Verde Quetzal de Guatemala con delicadísimos encajes amarillos casi invisibles formando enormes lienzos separados por tiras de mármol rojo, para recordar a la bandera granadina. Todo ello soportado por un zócalo de granito rosa sin trabajar, con la rudeza de la cantera y las marcas de la dinamita que contrasta con la especular delicadeza de sus paredes. A un lado dos enormes cilindros de hormigón serpenteados por una rampa con barandilla metálica que se adorna con extraños colores de óxidos.
Todo esto es lo que he querido expresar en mi obra a la que también me he permitido agregar alguna textura de mi cosecha por aquello de añadir años a lo que es demasiado joven en una Granada milenaria.

Tiroler Berge in Flammen: Wenn der längste Tag auf die kürzeste Nacht trifft, wird der Sommer im alpenländischen Raum mit Feuern am Berg begrüßt.
Ein mittelalterlicher Brauch, der auch in Tirol eine lange Tradition hat, sind die Bergfeuer, die zur Sonnenwende um den 21. Juni entzündet werden. Zahlreiche Vereine und Gruppen machen sich jedes Jahr auf den Weg, um an diesem Abend ihr Höhenfeuer zu entzünden und so den längsten Tag im Jahr zu feiern. Kurz nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit leuchten große Sonnwendfeuer von den Bergen und bieten eine mystische Kulisse. Im Juni sind wieder spektakuläre Feuerbilder mit unterschiedlichen Motiven und Symbolen zu sehen.

The Breath of the Forest
On an autumn afternoon in the Lienz Dolomites, sunlight breaks through drifting mist in a mountainside larch forest.
For a brief moment, beams of light and swirling fog transform the landscape into an almost ethereal scene. The illuminated mist seems to move through the trees like a living presence, giving the impression that the forest itself is breathing.
A fleeting moment of atmosphere, light and motion in the heart of the Alps.

Ahora estoy inmerso en varias temáticas distintas, las Colecciones de Arte con asuntos de la historia, las pinturas con acuarelas, y en estos momentos en el pintar los cuadros de Gran Formato, lienzos de medidas grandes en los que disfrutar al máximo de sus posibilidades plásticas y creativas, en la Pintura con un nuevo interior de mis queridas cafeterías trato sobre la profundidad en un espacio cerrado, la señorial y elegante decoración de la cafetería nos introduce en un mundo particular en el que todos los personajes adoptan sus propios movimentos y diversas posturas entre la especial decoración, por supuesto que la luz, las luces, nos muestran la belleza plástica del ahora y el aquí, sobre un lienzo de 130 x 81 centímetros he pintado una galaxia de emociones que pasan por los seres humanos en su vida cotidiana en el entorno mágico de los interiores,su distribución de espacios, los mobiliarios y la estructura general de la obra. Cuadros grandes del artista pintor Ernest Descals, la riqueza de los lienzos que se ha de saber y querer aprovechar.

PRADES-PLANET DEL PONT-CONCURS-PINTURA-CASES-BALCONS-CENTRE HISTORIC-PAISATGES-TARRAGONA-PINTOR-ERNEST DESCALS-
En la excursión con mi hijo JAN para participar en el Concurs de Pintura de la FESTA DE LA FARIGOLA en el pueblo de PRADES, me he sentido llamado para pintar esta compleja composición en un contraluz de las horas de la mañana, conjunto de casas con bellos balcones junto al PLANET DEL PONT, entre las esquinas del carrer Costa del Castell y carrer Nou del Pont nos hemos refugiado en la sombra para estar pintando con relativa comodidad, me ha gustado este rincón que muestra las bellezas de la arquitectura medieval con tonos rojizos de las piedras de los edificios, pintura al oleo sobre lienzo de 73 x 92 centímetros, paisajes y calles con historia enl os pueblos de Tarragona, Catalunya, cuadros paisajistas del artista pintor Ernest Descals.
Der ambitionierte Plan der Österreichischen Bundesbahnen (ÖBB), mehr Verbindungen auf Railjets umzustellen, hat nach dem Schneechaos im Dezember letzten Jahres, sowie einem sehr hohen Schadbestand einen Dämpfer erhalten.
Des einen Leid, des anderen Freud: Denn der IC 533 Wien Hbf - Lienz in Osttirol sollte eigentlich zum Fahrplanwechsel auf Railjets umgestellt werden. Nur kurz verkehrten dort die weinrot, grauen Schnellzüge. Bald schon kam der Lok bespannte Intercity zurück.
Während noch vor Fahrplanwechsel die Wagen Großteils aus MAV-Material bestanden, werden nun ÖBB Amz, Bmz und Bmpz Wagen von einer GySev Lok gezogen. Und bisher hatte der IC 533 auch keinen Steuerwagen, auch dies ist jetzt neu.
Hingegen altvertraut ist der Besuch der GySev Loks in Kärnten und Osttirol. Bereits 2022 kamen die Loks ins Gebirge.
Zum Bild: Mit wenigen Minuten Verspätung brauste die 470.505 "Sopron Civitas Fidelissima" mit ihrem IC 533 bei Berg im Drautal um die Ecke. Das Dorf ist am rechten Bildrand gut zu erkennen. Dabei wird der Endbahnhof Lienz in gut 20 Minuten erreicht sein.
Anfang Februar lag dabei noch ein letzter Rest Schnee.

The mountain town of Heiligenblut, Austria. We drove through here on our way from Salzburg to Lienz; it was just before tourist season so the whole town was amazingly peaceful. A little bit about the area:
Situated in the high-Alpine region of the Hohe Tauern mountain range at 1,288 meters, Heiligenblut is located at the foot of the Großglockner, the highest mountain in Austria, and the Pasterze Glacier. The Gothic pilgrimage church of Saint Vinzenz, with its needle spire, was built between 1460-1491 and contains a relic of Christ’s Holy Blood. According to legend the relic, which is kept in a sacrament house, was brought there in 914 from Constantinople by the Danish knight Briccius. On his way home he was buried by an avalanche and his corpse was found where three ears of wheat broke through the snow. The church also houses a late-Gothic winged altarpiece from 1520, and a crypt and tomb containing the remains of Briccius.

Lienz
is a medieval town in the Austrian state of Tyrol. It is the administrative centre of the Lienz district, which covers all of East Tyrol. The municipality also includes the cadastral subdivision of Patriasdorf.
The area of Lienz had been settled since the Bronze Age about 2000 BC. Celtic people lived here from about 300 BC on, mainly as miners, who came under control of the Roman Empire in 15 BC. The area was incorporated into the province of Noricum and Emperor Claudius had a municipium called Aguntum erected near Lienz in the today's municipality of Dölsach. Aguntum became the see of an Early Christian bishop in the 5th century but decayed during the Slavic settlement of the Eastern Alps and the subsequent fights with the Bavarii under King Tassilo I about 600. Part of the Slavic principality of Carantania, the area passed under Bavarian and finally Frankish suzerainty during the 8th century.
