Spring has arrived and the bees are busy with all the blossoms. This one is almost completly powdered from it work!

English:
Antelope Canyon is a spectacular canyon in Arizona on Lake Powell. The bizarre crevices in the ground were created by Antelope Creek, which dug its streambed into the soft sand beach over millions of years. Accordingly, the Navajo Indians who own the land call it "Tse’ bighanilini "- the place where the water flows through the rocks. Due to the narrow width of the watercourse, so-called slot canyons formed, whose narrow gorges are a typical feature of the landscape on the American Colorado Plateau.
Deutsch:
A view over Dresden's palace square shortly after sunset. Thanks to the longer exposure time, most of the people have disappeared. Only a few "ghosts" can still be seen on closer inspection.
It doesn't matter how often I come here, whether to take photos or not. This sight will always be something special for me. And I always wonder what these old walls have seen.
For example, Napoleon Bonaparte visited the city 11 times and spoke to his troops here in the square just outside the church in 1813 before leading them into battle. There is even a cobblestone marked with an 'N', said to mark where the great general once stood.
This is just one of certainly countless historical events that have taken place here.
Incidentally, you can see here (from left to right): The George's Gate(a former city gate), the Hausmann's tower (the oldest surviving part of the city palace), the cathedral Sanctissimae Trinitatis (the Chapel Royal of Dresden) as well as the famous opera house Semperoper.

Here you can see the most famous and most beautiful city in Tuscany, Florence.
Since I wasn't really in city mode on my tour, I limited my visit to a stop at this viewpoint at Piazzale Michelangelo. I slept a hundred meters from here and then waited for the sunrise at this spot. And even if I haven't seen very much of the city, I can already guess how much Forenz has to offer. I also managed to take some very nice photos from here. I'll save a more detailed exploration of the city itself for another visit.
The three most prominent buildings are (from left to right) the Palazzo Vecchio, seat of the city parliament, the Basilica di San Lorenzo and the Basilica di Santa Croce. In the foreground you can see the river Arno.

"There is beauty in our mess, in our pain, in our suffering, and in our transition from where we are to where we want to be, and even more importantly, who we are and who we want to be."
Life, for all of us, is a mosaic of the brutal and beautiful. We often find ourselves right in the middle of these polar expressions. I don’t know about you, but it seems that life has become more and more challenging now. We are more stressed and anxious than ever before.
You can make decisions that change your life’s path but to make wise choices you must have faith and courage in yourself. You may not be able to control the outcome of the new path that you choose, and perhaps you will act in error, but that doesn’t really matter, because even then you can choose your reaction to the outcome.
If it is positive, enjoy it. If it is negative, endure it as it is just another learning opportunity and experience that will pass, just as the positive experiences will.
We often complain about our lives and rarely stop to think about what we are really saying. There are some people in the world who would cherish a tenth of what many of us have.
If you have a roof over your head, food on your table and family then you are already living the life of someone else’s dreams. There was once a time in your life that you dreamed of having something that you have right now.
Accept yourself. No one is perfect. You are on life’s journey to experience and grow not to declare yourself the finished perfect specimen of humanity. No one really wants to be friends with Perfect Penelope, do they? She is probably more angst-ridden than the rest of us.
With each challenging experience that you face you will develop in character and your virtuosity will strengthen. Experience guides you on the path to the good life. Embrace and accept all of life.
It really will all be okay in the end.

View from Lombardsbridge. Binnenalster or Inner Alster Lake is one of two artificial lakes within the city limits of Hamburg, Germany, which are formed by the river Alster.
The capital of the Czech Republic, Prague is often referred to as the golden city on the Vltava. There are several reasons for this, which I won't go into detail here (maybe another time).
Looking at the night view of Prague Castle glowing in the night sky is enough of an explanation for me.
Incidentally, the castle complex is already in the year 885 !!! mentioned in writing. That alone is enough to impress me.
It has always been the residence of the reigning ruler and now serves as the seat of the President of the Czech Republic. So basically not much has changed here.

The theme of the Happy Caturday group for this week is "light". Tofu likes the lights but I think he feels stalked by the Tomte who usually sits on the windowsill next to Tofu's favourite scratchpost and moved to the floor for this photo. :) Happy Caturday everybody !
This tiny little hoverfly meets an beautiful Goblet of Fire. The red lilium almost looks like it burns. So two beautys of nature paired for an Rendezvous :)
About the hoverfly: Hoverflies, also called flower flies or syrphid flies, make up the insect family Syrphidae. As their common name suggests, they are often seen hovering or nectaring at flowers; the adults of many species feed mainly on nectar and pollen, while the larvae (maggots) eat a wide range of foods. In some species, the larvae are saprotrophs, eating decaying plant and animal matter in the soil or in ponds and streams. In other species, the larvae are insectivores and prey on aphids, thrips, and other plant-sucking insects.

Even if it seems so, there are not only modern hotels like Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. This is the inner courtyard of a small city hotel that reminds of past times.

The historical timber framed building of the Maria's Pharmacy in the bavarian town Rothenburg ob der Tauber is, especially at the evening time, a terrific view. The pharmacy is existing here since the year 1812. Before that, this building was used as the town hall. The building itself was built already in the 14th centure. I'm impressed. I wonder, how life was on this place more than 600 years ego.

The titel of this photo from the place Ploenlein in the town Rothenburg ob der Tauber came into my mind, when I saw the finished photo on my screen the first time. The light star in the tower gate, what was completely beyond any intention, has something Chistmasy for me. That’s why it fits quite good in the present time (unfortunately the empty streets are fitting too). Off course, a little bit of snow could support this impression but hat not available at the moment.

Autumn, also known as Fall in American English and Canadian English, is one of the four temperate seasons. Outside the tropics, autumn marks the transition from summer to winter, in September (Northern Hemisphere) or March (Southern Hemisphere). Autumn is the season when the duration of daylight becomes noticeably shorter and the temperature cools considerably. Day length decreases and night length increases as the season progresses until the Winter Solstice in December (Northern Hemisphere) and June (Southern Hemisphere). One of its main features in temperate climates is the striking change in colour for the leaves of deciduous trees as they prepare to shed.

After the sun has set in the Hohenzollern Castle the first lights are switched on.
The modern heart of Singapore: Central Business District (CBD).
It is hard to believe that a few decades ago Singapore was still a Third World country.
Brisbane is also called River city. When I took some night shots, I realized why.
Brisbane, Queensland. Australia.
Somtimes things in life are fading away even if we try to keep them focused. This blossom almost seems to fade away! Or is it fading in? It`s all about our personal POV! I took this shot with the 2x Telekonverter and it worked pretty well.
