Wünsche allen noch ein frohes neues Jahr 2018.
I wish you a happy new year.
Dreimal habe ich/wir die Brücke in den letzten Tagen besucht um die Brücke komplett gespiegelt im aktuellen Hochwasser zu haben.
Leider war der Wettergott nicht auf unserer Seite.
Beim ersten Mal war es zu nebelig.
Beim zweiten Mal hat es genau zur blauen Stunde geschüttet wie aus Eimern und bei diesem Bild war es etwas zu windig und zu diesig um ein schöne Spiegelung zu bekommen.
Trotzdem gefällt mir das Ergebnis.

Die Kapellbrücke in Luzern mit der Weihnachtsbeleuchtung im Hintergrund. In ein paar Tagen wird die Weihnachtsbeleuchtung auf der Seebrücke wieder entfernt.

A leaf (PL: leaves) is any of the principal appendages of a vascular plant stem, usually borne laterally aboveground and specialized for photosynthesis. Leaves are collectively called foliage, as in "autumn foliage", while the leaves, stem, flower, and fruit collectively form the shoot system.
Leaves can have many different shapes, sizes, and textures. The broad, flat leaves with complex venation of flowering plants are known as megaphylls and the species that bear them, the majority, as broad-leaved or megaphyllous plants, which also includes acrogymnosperms and ferns.

Christmas Garden 2019 at the Botanic Garden in Berlin. The illuminated glasshouse in my photo is the Mittelmeerhaus (Mediterranean greenhouse) which can also be booked for weddings and other events.
Since one of the most important ingredients that make a scene look Christmassy – snow – is obviously missing (nothing unusual in my region, February and March are the coldest winter months and the ones more likely to bring snow than December), I hit the sliders in various programmes to add a more festive atmosphere (and also to do something about the somewhat quirky-looking colours from the many illuminations). For the "starry night" texture in the sky, I've used one of the "Dirt and Scratches" filters in Analog Efex; if I remember correctly, it's a texture from the "Eroded" filter palette. I hope you like this little slider:)

The Speicherstadt in Hamburg, is the largest warehouse district in the world where the buildings stand on timber-pile foundations, oak logs, in this particular case. It is located in the port of Hamburg—within the HafenCity quarter—and was built from 1883 to 1927.
The district was built as a free zone to transfer goods without paying customs. As of 2009 the district and the surrounding area is under redevelopment. As the first site in Hamburg, it has been awarded the status of UNESCO World Heritage Site on 5 July 2015.

Das London Eye bei Nacht, auch bekannt unter der Bezeichnung Millennium Wheel, ist mit einer Höhe von 135 Metern das höchste Riesenrad Europas.
Es steht im Zentrum von London am Südufer der Themse nahe der Westminster Bridge und gilt als eines der Wahrzeichen der britischen Hauptstadt. Bei Nacht sehr schön beleuchtet.
Die Zeche Schlägel & Eisen ist ein mittlerweile stillgelegtes Bergwerk in Herten/Westfalen, in der Steinkohle abgebaut und aufbereitet wurde.

The Schlägel & Eisen colliery is now a disused mine in Herten, Westphalia, where hard coal was mined and processed.
The night in descending in front of the walls of the beautiful saxonian city of Bautzen (off course not only there). While the light of the sun is starting to fade away, one tower after the other is beginnung to shine. This is a moment when the face of a city is changing completely. So take Your time not only for a quick shot while passing by, but to watch this transformation entirely. Its worth it.

schönen Stadt Bautzen in Sachsen (und natürlich nicht nur da). Während das Licht der Sonne beginnt zu verblassen fängt ein Turm nach dem anderen an zu leuchten. Ein Moment, in dem sich das Erscheinungsbild einer jeden Stadt massiv verändert. So nimm Dir die Zeit, nicht nur für einen schnellen Schnappschuss im Vorübergehen, sondern um die Verwandung komplett zu beobachten. Es lohnt sich.

Quite a while ago when i have been outdoors with my X-T4 and the XF1.4 TC for some shooting and stumbled across this litlle blossom beauty just after some rain. The leafs are wide open while the blossoms almost tried to reach the light ahead. The small little waterdroplets moisted the hole flower!

The Stony Bridge is one of the landmarks of the city Regensburg. With a building start in the year 1135 it is the oldest retained bridge in germany. Until the completion of the chain bridge in Budapest it was, for about 800 years, the only solid bridge across the river Donau.
Die Steinerne Brücke ist eines der Wahrzeichen der Stadt Regensburg. Mit ihrem Baubeginn im Jahr 1135 gilt sie als die älteste erhaltene Brücke Deutschlands. Bis zur Fertigstellung der Kettenbrücke in Budapest war sie fast 800 Jahre lang die einzige massive Brücke über die Donau.

About two years ago I got an idea to shoot Skyline Frankfurt while skyscrapers towering over a sea of fog. Since then I waited in vain for this moment. 01.11.2015 I was finally able to achieve this important and difficult goal.

Noch was cooles von diesem Abend.
Vor etwa zwei Jahren bekam ich die Idee die Skyline Frankfurt zu fotografieren, während die Hochhäuser über den Nebel ragen. Seitdem wartete ich vergeblich auf diesen Moment. Am 01.11.2015 konnte ich endlich eines meines wichtigsten und schwierigsten Vorhaben umsetzen.

Been outdoors for some shooting and stumbled across this litlle beauty of nature. It almost seemed that she was standing there as an satellite adjusted to sent out her beauty into the universe. Lavendar colours in nature are so pretty.

Office building Dockland looks like a ship´s hull. It´s a visitor platform on top with a great view to the port.
Autumn, also known as Fall in American English and Canadian English, is one of the four temperate seasons. Outside the tropics, autumn marks the transition from summer to winter, in September (Northern Hemisphere) or March (Southern Hemisphere). Autumn is the season when the duration of daylight becomes noticeably shorter and the temperature cools considerably. Day length decreases and night length increases as the season progresses until the Winter Solstice in December (Northern Hemisphere) and June (Southern Hemisphere). One of its main features in temperate climates is the striking change in colour for the leaves of deciduous trees as they prepare to shed.
