Photograph taken at an altitude of Nine metres, at 13:43pm on Monday 20th January 2020, on a beautifully sunny afternoon off Birdcage Walk and Horse Guards Road in the grounds of St James's Park. Situated in the City Of Westminster, the Park spans twenty three Hectares and is the oldest of the Royal Parks of London, with a variety of visiting and nesting birds that include Ducks, Canada Geese and Pelicans.
Here we see an adult Grey Heron (Ardea cinerea), standing in the rushes on the banks of The lake. A predatory wading bird in the Heron family, these long legged birds can stand over a metre tall and weigh up to 4.4ib. There are a resident pair of Grey Herons here, and a chick was successfully reared last year.

Location: Berlin - 810km from home.
This license plate is very, very interesting, although it's "only a Swedish" one. Of all the Swedish license plates in Berlin only a handful are personalized, and even then they usually come with eurobands. A very short, non-eurobanded plate like this is pretty confusing. I knew what it was, or at least had a very certain idea about what it'd possibly be when I saw this car for the first time, but others might not. This plate could be seen for around 2-3 months in Berlin before the owner stopped using the individual palte. The car can still be seen driving around with standard Swedish plates here, I suppose that he was stopped more than two times by authorities because these plates aren't telling much.

Brasília (pron. [bɾaˈziʎɐ]) é a capital federal do Brasil e a sede do governo do Distrito Federal. A cidade está localizada na região Centro-Oeste do país, ao longo da região geográfica conhecida como Planalto Central. No censo demográfico realizado pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística em 2010, sua população era de 2 562 963 habitantes (3 716 996 em sua área metropolitana), sendo, então, a quarta cidade brasileira mais populosa. A capital brasileira é a maior cidade do mundo construída no século XX.
A cidade possui o segundo maior produto interno bruto per capita do Brasil (45 977,59 reais), o quinto maior entre as principais cidades da América Latina e cerca de três vezes maior que a renda média brasileira. Como capital nacional, Brasília é a sede dos três principais ramos do governo brasileiro e hospeda 124 embaixadas estrangeiras. A cidade também abriga a sede de muitas das principais empresas brasileiras. Brasília (Portuguese pronunciation: [bɾaˈziljɐ]) is the federal capital of Brazil and the seat of government of the Federal District. The city is located along the Brazilian Highlands in the country's Central-West region. It was founded on April 21, 1960, to serve as the new national capital. Brasília had an estimated population of 2,789,761 in 2013, making it the 4th most populous city in Brazil.
Among major Latin American cities, Brasília has the highest GDP per capita at R$61,915 (US$36,175).
Brasília was planned and developed by Lúcio Costa and Oscar Niemeyer in 1956 in order to move the capital from Rio de Janeiro to a more central location. The landscape architect was Roberto Burle Marx. The city's design divides it into numbered blocks as well as sectors for specified activities, such as the Hotel Sector, the Banking Sector and the Embassy Sector. Brasília was chosen as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its modernist architecture.
The city has a unique status in Brazil, as it is an administrative division rather than a legal municipality like other cities in Brazil. Nationally, the term is almost always used synonymously with the Federal District, which constitutes an indivisible Federative Unit, analogous to a state. Several satellite cities are also part of the Federal District.
The centers of all three branches of the federal government of Brazil are in Brasília, including the Congress, President, and Supreme Court. The city also hosts 124 foreign embassies.[6] Brasília International Airport connects the capital to all major Brazilian cities and many international destinations, and is the third busiest airport in Brazil.
The city is one of the main host cities of the 2014 FIFA World Cup and will be the host city of 2019 Summer Universiade. Additionally, Brasília hosted the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup.

Also known as the Red slug, Chocolate arion and European red slug, these are land slugs or roundback slugs in the family Arionidae. The opening on the right side is a pneumostome or respiratory pore whih feeds air to the lung. They have a striped foot fringe and pale sole, and can reach 150mm fully extended.

They are widespread across Western Europe, with a variant species found in Northern Britain and Scandinavia. They have a compact bell shape and stretch out in motion to a length of up to 180mm. They were first noted in 1758 by Carl Linnaeus and areclassed as Mollusca, gastropoda class and subclass Heterobranchia.
Their life cycle is typically just one year and they are hermaphrodites. The opening on the right side is a pneumostome or respiratory pore which feeds air to the lung. They have a striped foot fringe and pale sole, and can reach 150mm fully extended. They have 27,000 teeth!

Photograph taken at an altitude of Forty one metres at 07:45am on Saturday 27th February 2021 off Blackheath Avenue and Charlton Way in the grounds of Greenwich Park, one of the Royal Parks of London situated in Greenwich, South East London.
Here we see a group of Drakes, or mallards (Anas platyrhynchos), running around in the park. Mallards are dabbling ducks which breed all over temperate and sub tropical Americas, Eurasia and North Africa as well as New Zealand and a host of other territories. Belonging to the waterfowl family, the males or drakes are particularly beautiful with glossy green heads and bright yellow beaks.

Photograph taken at an altitude of Seventy metres at 12:52pm on Thursday 25th May off Keating Cros Road and Benvenuto Avenue at Victoria Butterfly Gardens in Brentwood Bay on Vancouver Island in Brirish Columbia, Canada.
This is a Blue Morpho (Morpho Peleides) butterfly, one of the largest butterflies in the world with a wingspan up to eight inches. Light reflects from the microscopic scales on their wingbacks, giving a vivid iridescent appearance, and they are mainly seen active and in flight, resting only briefly. They are found in the tropical rainforests of Latin America from Mexico to Columbia.

Spotted in the suburbs of Geneva, near Balexert shopping center and not far from the airport, this San Marinese A6! I almost missed it, as I wasn't in the best conditions to catch it! That's the first RSM plate I can take a picture of this year, I saw another one some months ago but I couldn't catch it...

My first Russian of the year! Like the majority of Russian plates I see in Geneva, this one is from Moscow, with the newest code of the city (777).

The carrion crow (Corvus corone) is a passerine bird of the family Corvidae and the genus Corvus which is native to western Europe and eastern Asia. It can grow to twenty inches in length with a wingspan of up to thirty nine inches. Highly intelligent, utterly beautiful with an amazingly detailed and rich plumage, these stunning birds are much maligned and tainted with unfair tags attributed through folklore and ignorance. I love 'em!
