This is a great eye-grabbing display in the Pratt Central Library's Central Hall. The fake fire on top looks real from a distance, and people have to come and take a closer look.

Ephesus is an ancient Greek city that is situated in present day Turkey. For a time, the Romans took it over and it was the second largest city of the empire behind Rome. This is a close up of the most impressive building of the city, the library, the second largest of the ancient world (behind Alexandria).
It is also directly across from the whorehouse of the city.
