Wool book appliqué and hand embroidered letters spelling out, “Hoo, Hoo, Who likes to READ?” Cotton exterior and lining, with heavy canvas used as interfacing to give the bag strength. Reinforced cotton handles. Two patch pockets inside – one for your small items, and another specifically sized for your library card (it even says library card in hand embroidered letters). One of the most welcoming sights to see when entering the lobby of the Schaumburg Township District Library is the beautiful flower arrangement that graces the reception desk. These flowers arrangements arrive every week from 5 different florists in Schaumburg Township. The library is very willing to advertise for our community business partners. Many compliments and questions come to the lovely staff seated at this desk. Answers to guide the patron through our world-class library are handled in a highly professional manner.

Hadrian's Library was created by Roman Emperor Hadrian in AD 132 on the north side of the Acropolis of Athens. The building followed a typical Roman Forum architectural style, having only one entrance with a propylon of Corinthian order, a high surrounding wall with protruding niches at its long sides, an inner courtyard surrounded by columns and a decorative oblong pool in the middle. The library was on the eastern side where rolls of papyrus"books" were kept. Adjoining halls were used as reading rooms, and the corners served as lecture halls.
