This is the United States Custom House in Portland, OR. It's empty and is for sale, so both Leverage and Grimm do a lot of shooting here. It's a large building, taking up a square city block and I walk past it almost every morning on my way to work. The number of semi trucks filled with lighting and other equipment that are parked nearby when filming is going on is amazing! Catering trucks park in front and there are tables of food set up and ramps on the stairs for hauling things inside. About a month ago they were there for a week or two, making it fun to walk by and see what was going on. Construction on the building started in 1898 and was completed in 1901. An investigation showed the building would take $8–10 million in renovations for accessibility and earthquake retrofits
