“Miracles appear in the strangest of places …
Your presence is welcome with me and my friend[s] here …
I'll bet you've seen things in your time”

Wondering how a shot like this is created? You have three options:
1. Attend a hands-on photography workshop ($300–$800).
2. Spend extensive time in the field, with unpredictable results.
3. Leverage AI—buy a professional prompt ($2–$50) and generate results instantly.

An invitation Gav and myself could not refuse was to visit the inside of Par box. We spent 30 mins in excellent company and were thoroughly educated in the workings of this fine building.

This is a series of 18 pictures about the European Hardcourt Bike Polo Championship (EHBPC) – Zaragoza 2015. I took these picts during the Octopussy-Birds and Octopussy-Megadrive matches (Semifinals, Final). I resorted to Silver Effex Pro, heavily leveraging U-points, mostly sticking to a uniform, retro style trying to focus on the toughness of the game, the clubs, the ball, the bikes, the players. I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I've enjoyed working on them.

Category 20: Self-Repro Bricktime
What would the laboratory for researching the self-reproducing LEGO brick look like? At least 1 LEGO propeller must be used, no matter what size!
3D printing is so 2020, the future is.. growing!LEGO was already making bricks from plants… but could they make plants from Bricks? Or… even better, make plants that produce Bricks?
In their efforts to become an ecologically sustainable company, LEGO made the groundbreaking (hehe, see what I did here?) discovery of ABS-based seeds used to grow plants that produce LEGO elements!
TLG has always exploited ... Err.. I mean, leveraged their fan base as their primary source of data to develop new products. This experiment is no different and is currently being tested by a few selected subjects.
Pictured here is little Timmy's room; Timmy loves LEGO and he was thrilled to give this new toy a try. He has been taking good care of his new LEGO plant, watering, grooming, he can't wait to play with his first crop!
The critics that have said the seeds could spread in the wild and result in mutations of the flora are completely unfounded, I mean, what could possibly go wrong?

An Amtrak Lincoln Service train heads west/south at Brighton Park Crossing in Chicago, passing the levers that controlled the famous semaphores at this junction until 2008.

One of the levers from the historic Mills Interlocking Tower in Iowa Falls, Iowa. This tower was replaced with a automated system in 1993 and was bought and left in place by the Iowa Falls, Iowa Historic Society. Thanks to Larry Stirler and Dave Kroger for inviting me out there for the open house last weekend.

Leverage
makes the world go 'round.
It is the grease in the markets.
It is the strength to impose your will.
Freedom's trajectory
spans the planet,
whether all want it or not.
The arc or heaven rests

As part of the Heritage Open Days weekend the Tyne Valley Community Rail Partnership arranges for Haltwhistle station and signal box to be opened to the public. With guided tours of the site the event seemed to be attracting quite a few visitors to the historic station.
The 1901 built signal box is no longer used to control traffic on the line but the levers remain in place in what was, at it's peak, an 85 lever frame, controlling the junction between the Tyne Valley line and the Alston branch.
