27 th District level National Children Science Congress SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION FORA CLEAN, GREEN & HEALTHY NATION program was conducted on 04.11.2019 (Monday), 10.00am at Visvesvaraya seminar hall in Nehru Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. Principal Dr. K.P.Arul Shree presided over the function.
Dr.S.Easwaran, Head of the Department, Science and Humanities, Nehru Institute of Technology, Coimbatore gave the Welcome address. Principal gave a motivational talk for the students.
Shri.T.Jayamurgann, state executive committee member, Tamilnadu science forum, Coimbatore was the Chief Guest of this function. He spoke about the present scenario in Science & technology related to industries. He gave nice tips for the school students about the strategies they are following in industries.
Around 23 schools have been participated and presented 71 project out of this 04 project were selected for state level presentations by the committee experts.
Vote of thanks was given by Mr.S.Sathishkumar AP/Mechanical, Nehru Institute of Technology, Coimbatore.
All the Head of the Departments, Professors, Faculty members and parents attended the function. Students were much impressed by the Chief Guest’s talk. The function started with Tamil Thai Vaazhthu and ended with National Anthem. At the end of the function lunch was provided for parents and students.
