Golden Meadow, Louisiana is a small community located in coastal Lafourche Parish. The population is about 2,500 with a local Cajun culture that is unique in Louisiana itself. The climate is semitropical and influenced by the Gulf of Mexico. The community lines Bayou Lafourche for about 3 miles and most of the land is low at around sea level surrounded by a levee. Coastal erosion is a big issue and threatens the very existance of this one of a kind place.

Cormorants have been flying along the Sheboygan River for the last couple of days. This morning when I walked along South Pier, there were none to be found. Then I stopped opposite the Coast Guard station and my mystery was solved. Hope that they stay around for a while

In the small puddles, you can just pick out the reflection of the pier.

Pochard landing at Ham Wall RSPB reserve - Somerset Levels

The 3 of them are pretty chilled out with sheep .. and the sheep are pretty chilled with them .. whilst Auntie Elk would love to .. she knows she's not allowed, Paddy's interested .. but follows Auntie Elk's lead and always comes back to heel .. Mist .... is usually nowhere to be seen (scared of anything with 4 legs especially if it looks at her!)

At almost 800 feet above sea-level Crowborough, in East Sussex,

is the only settlement in South-East England, that I can think of,

higher than the village of Coldharbour, in Surrey.

It stands on the north-east side of Leith Hill at 965 feet or 294 metres.

A footpath starting opposite The Plough Inn wends its way south-west, past Coldharbour Cricket Ground, on a level site, half-way to the summit Tower.

To the east of the village, right in the image, is a ditch and dyke, flat-topped hill, that takes settlement here, back at least 3,200 years.

This was the site of an Iron-Age Hill-Fort called Anstiebury.

When trees are leafless in winter and early spring,

many dwellings, in this lofty village, enjoy superb views across the Surrey and Sussex Weald.

Since the 2012 Olympic Games in London, cycling in the Surrey Hills has become incredibly popular.

Racers and Mountain-Bikers have a splendid terrain

to explore and enjoy.

A rarer two level Target store in University Heights.

The University Square shopping center was opened in 2003. Today the shopping center has Target, Macy's and T.J. Maxx / Homegoods (Target and Macy's own the property their stores are on). University Square once featured a Tops grocery store on the bottom level but it closed just a year later in 2006 when Tops closed all their Ohio locations. Retailers such as Jo-Ann Fabrics, Foot Locker, Famous Footwear, and Pier 1 Imports have all either closed or relocated elsewhere. Some spaces in the shopping center were never filled to begin with. Currently (late 2016), only one non-anchor store, T.J. Maxx / Homegoods, remains at University Square, but plans to move to nearby Oakwood Commons. Applebee's also still has a restaurant in the shopping center. Today, there are talks about possible mixed-use redevelopment plans for University Square

The shopping center has five levels of parking and staggered store levels. 1- Access to Macy's and Applebee's, 2- Empty Tops Friendly Market level, 3- Access to Macy's, T.J. Maxx / Homegoods, and Target, 4- just for parking, 5- second level of Target.
