Normal and cart escalators! Also, skylights are a Target rarity!
A rarer two level Target store in University Heights.
The University Square shopping center was opened in 2003. Today the shopping center has Target, Macy's and T.J. Maxx / Homegoods (Target and Macy's own the property their stores are on). University Square once featured a Tops grocery store on the bottom level but it closed just a year later in 2006 when Tops closed all their Ohio locations. Retailers such as Jo-Ann Fabrics, Foot Locker, Famous Footwear, and Pier 1 Imports have all either closed or relocated elsewhere. Some spaces in the shopping center were never filled to begin with. Currently (late 2016), only one non-anchor store, T.J. Maxx / Homegoods, remains at University Square, but plans to move to nearby Oakwood Commons. Applebee's also still has a restaurant in the shopping center. Today, there are talks about possible mixed-use redevelopment plans for University Square
The shopping center has five levels of parking and staggered store levels. 1- Access to Macy's and Applebee's, 2- Empty Tops Friendly Market level, 3- Access to Macy's, T.J. Maxx / Homegoods, and Target, 4- just for parking, 5- second level of Target.

Out today with ianbartlett and ajlelliott for a wander over the Pevensey Levels (marsh land).
I did get a few in focus pics of this little bird (I forget what it is), but I quite liked that I'd managed to get it just taking off.

Rising sea levels and coastal erosion are causing widespread damage in the Maldives. Our leaders have had their message sent across the world, hope the world has listened to our plight.
“Kyoto divided the world. It divided us between rich and poor, developed and developing, Annex 1 and non-Annex 1. Our task now is to unite the world, behind the shared vision of low-carbon growth. The Maldives is trying to lead the way. I call on every country in the room to join us, not just for the sake of the Maldives, but for all of us who live on this beautiful planet”
President Mohamed Nasheed in his Statement to the Joint High-level segment of COP15 and CMP5 in Copenhagen in September 2009.
“It is not too late to save the world. It is not too late to save the Maldives and other low-lying island nations. Only the vital collective commitment is missing”
President M. A. Gayoom at the 42nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly on the Special Debate on Environment and Development on 19 October 1987.
Photographed by T. Martin on the 20th of June 1964 BR Standard 4MT class 2-6-4T No 80096 with an Oswestry to Whitchurch service is about to pass over the former GWR Shrewsbury to Chester mainline by means of a steel plate girder bridge.
As far as photography goes this shot is pretty much run of the mill, however, as far as the location is concerned it is, in my mind historically priceless. The few pictures I've seen of Whittington High-Level illustrate the railway after closure. perhaps the only downside is that it wasn't taken from the opposite end of the bridge.
The former Whittington High-Level Station lay a couple of chains length beyond the bridge (Whitchurch Side) which had been closed since the 4th of January 1960. I suspect by this time little remained of its existence.
in the Capital city the filthy rich lives in Stratos-scrapers and levitating palaces, at ground level those with regular employment and some status lives...
Then at what is known to most as The cellar levels the poor and factory workers live in just above starvation and misery, if you travel even deeper to the grotto parts of the undercity hoards of savage mutants and outcast aliens and renegade droids live most people who doesn´t have to travel down here with out a platoon of bodyguard federations soldiers and 2-3 defense Bots and a dozen of pathfinders...
This is of cause not even the deepest levels, there are all sorts of rumors of different deep-city Abyssal levels...
since the contact between the different levels in the city, few above cellar-level knows anything about the deeper levels, some say there is huge mutated Dinos running around eating everything, some say a huge biological fleshy mutated mass spread it´s tentacles through the deepest levers incorporating all organic and some inorganic matter in to it´s huge swelling bloated mutant body... but the deepest levels are yet unexplored by "Civilized surface dwellers"
This picture depicts a common trap made by mutants and deep-level scum, the lure-trap goes like this, a mutant with special radio-active attributes such as tapping in to radio-messages or someone who has accidentally swallow a piece of communication tech and gotten this trait in that manner...
...anyway one of these gangers homes in on the radio of a random spacecraft and does his best to convince the victim pilot that they are ground control, then slowly lures the pilot down towards the landing strip which in reality is one of the vents leading deep in to the planet core...
before this the whole pack of underhivling scums have constructed a fake landing coarse and when the pilot lands they wait until the engines are turned off, then they all strike at once, coming from all corners with chains, hooks, chainsaws, pipes, magnets, tentacles and so on...
the pilot then usually tries to start his ship again, but since most spacecraft especially small fighter are lightweight because of economic reasons the pure mutant-body-weight is enough to pull it down, at the same time as they cling to the ship all starts bashing and hacking it, tearing it apart piece by piece in hope to maim it enough to prohibit flight, then at most time there will be fighting among the Hive-scum on which parts they are "the rightful" owners of, many are starving carnivores who see the pilot as a juicy pice of meat behind the thin crystal canopy...
Some pilots choose to eject themselves, with is an almost certain death at this cluttered level of the city, with metal and pipes sticking out everywhere and concrete wall, still the choose certain death rather than being ripped apart by brawling aliens and mutants fighting over dinner...

A second pass by RAF Lockheed C-130J Hercules C.5 ZH882/Ascot 150 got me scrambling down lower at Bwlch Exit on the Mach Loop to get a slightly different view.
When I reached Hysham this manifest was paused there. I started scouting for a shot west of there and they resumed their westbound trip as well. They're getting back up to speed on the flat valley floor and by means of a few sweeping curves the Forsyth Sub prepares to squeeze between the river and the south bluffs again just behind me.
Dash 9s like the 5010 are approaching 20 years in mainline service. I struggle to think of them as old but some have left the roster already. I sure saw plenty of them on this trip. I look forward to the day when they're rare and I can look back on scenes like this with nostalgia. Of course that will have to wait, for now just part of the orange hordes. September 7, 2023.
